My go to for the first song on a PT test. Starts slow, then builds quickly to almost a dead sprint. They say he can't keep running that fast, but I have more Blink-182 in my pocket. I love this song!

What an amazing piece of music. Much better than the version that was released later.
Amazing melodies and how the bass and guitar play and complement each other I have seen in no other song other than maybe Californication by the RHCP.
Very much agree heard the other version and thought something was off. Sounds better, more garage/ punkery IMO.
I actually love the Cheshire Cat version and prefer it to this, but this version is still great.
This drummer is not Travis Barker this is first before Travis when first drummer was kick out name is Scott Raynor

Actually this recording here was with Travis, when Buddha was first released it was with Scott but I guess they re-recorded the songs on Buddha and that’s the cover above, it was done after enema I wanna say.

It's crazy but think 3 lads who could hardly play or sing in Tom's garage changed music and pop punk for ever. With this bass riff and Tom's voice how many bands has this influenced its nuts., no matter how bad you suck never give up on your dreams, keep playing music.

Buddha and Cheshire cat has some really difficult riffs and solos that require great technique and picking...and this doesn't suck this is like their best song easily, the voice, bass, drums, guitar,lyrics everything is perfect in this song, the chemistry is just perfect
This is way better than their later stuffs both lyrically and musically
It takes a true genius to make it seem easy, but I can promise you that none of these people sucked.
