- It’s always a treat to see these first generation s10/s15 trucks taken care of and made into MONSTERS like this one right here! Justin came out to test the new build after it went through a TON of changes last winter. His test session went extremely well considering he entered in two classes, won one of them, and competed in the semi-finals in the other. Turns out the man behind the tune is none other than Beater Bomb himself! Small world it is

@@adambrooks2297 lol I'm not a Ford only guy. It's not about the manufacturer specially when it comes to modified race engines. That's the problem with all you fan boys. Doesn't matter if it's Chevy, Ford, Dodge, etc. Fan boy is a fan boy and in most cases know the least but think whatever they support is best which is bs. I've ran just about everything over the years that American has to offer going back to the 90s. Buick, Chevy, Ford, Dodge and Pontiac. They're all capable of making power and all have proven motors. It's always been more about who's building and tuning it than the manufacturer. Have no problem with ls or anything else and it should be proven it's been around for decades now. I just called the videos like I see them. Sorry that triggered you.
Although tell me if the Ls is so great and king. Why did it take a full billet block, head, crank ls to do what a factory modified block, head and crank did from Ford. That's 5s @250mph+ That said the hemi design is still king.

My opinion SRC's s-10 is a true street truck
Yeah big diffrence from what we call true street billys is a true street but that one isnt around here specially being tubular k member an being front halfed.. but, I will say its a street truck. just wouldnt fit our rules in TS class.. We gotta have exhaust an a muffler an has to atleast come out infront of or behind the rear tire. It be real good in our extreme street class! One bad mf truck tho.
I grew up in the 90's drag racing scene and it's absolutely amazing how far technology has come for making horsepower...back when I was doing it if you had a 9 second true street car it was pretty fast!!! Wth!!!!! 1800 hp is just awesome. Great video and killer lil truck. The driver was a solid dude as well.
When 1800 whp isn't enough to win true street class that's absolutely ridiculous and amazing haha

@@flyonbyya yeah, my 86 (like his) had a four link , turbo car... My 98 had a 2 inch body lift 5 inch Trailmaster suspension... Spun 33 inch tires like nothing. Plus it had what I call a " millennials security system. We use to call them CLUTCH PEDALS .

This truck basically screams "you don't need AWD". I love the fasterproms truck and he's a hell of a dude. But that truck isn't anywhere near the level of this truck.

I dont like the street rules at the track because those guys pulling the cars aren't ur normal street event guys. There is a video out there of a Corvette jumping after bumping in and the guy with the light didnt even noticed and pull the other guy in the the line. The vett had a heads start or the front bumper maybe even the front tire. Prep surface ain't street racing

Maybe Try street has just progressed so crazy in the past ten years. In the earlier 2000’s 1990’s tru street was a actual street car that was stupid fast. You couldn’t tell it was a race car. Now it’s like. Race car called a tru street Fuck. Maybe I’m just getting old
We're just getting old dude. I remember when true street had 800hp to 1000hp cars in it in the 90's and rules were strict. Most true street races had at least a 40 miles cruz to weed out the "race cars". Today though with turbo tech and engines like coyote and LS it's nothing for a true st. car to make 1500hp

Love those trucks had a 85 S-15 with a big whopping 151 2.5 liter ran forever. Just not that dam good. They definitely did there homework.

Mine is a 2003 and no I havent changed the door pins my truck is almost rust free and runs perfect and it doesn't give me problems
@@seanstambaugh3256 With my truck I have replaced everything! Fuel pump,brakes several times,tires,transmission rebuild,alternator twice, battery, sway bar end links,wind shield and radiator twice. Now it's just rusting on me. Now I need a second set of door pins on the drivers side again. Door wont shut unless I force it! No car payment though. 😑
