Here is an effective technique you can do yourselves to help release your diaphragm.
Please note : if you're feeling unwell, in pain or have a sensitive stomach, please take care and stop the technique if you're feeling worse and see your doctor.

So helpful! I had a sensitive reaction to going outside in the extreme cold yesterday and my diaphragm got stuck w cramping that I couldn’t relieve on my own. These techniques have been amazing. Thank you!

I have pain in my ribs, just at that V place where the diaphragm sits. So poking in with my fingers hurts a bit. But it gives instant relief, as if I could open up my ribcase a lot further than before 😊

I get the same sometimes, I think it is my diaphragm. Hope you feel better ❤

Ya what is that. I get it mostly on the right. Especially when I'm stretching it goes into contraction I can only compare to a Charlie horse or labour pain but just in that one spot behind the base of the center ribs/sternum. I double over and push against it can actually feel a muscle knot of sorts, short breaths and major pain then it's like a feeling of a wave and is gone. Been happening a few years now and doctors just shrug and say who knows

I am having flutter/spasm near diaphragm. I don't know why. Is it because for diaphragmatic tension. I tried your exercise. Hope it helps.

That hurts my c3-c4-c5 in my neck. I have spasms as I sleep but it’s not painful.I exhale air and let out a cry the split second I start to fall asleep. It’s horrible. Who should I see about this?

Sad to hear but I am glad to know I am not the only person in this world suffering from this problem. I think doctors just focus on only what they do but not on me and my symptoms. I can’t seem to get my orthopedist nor my neurosurgeon to listen to me. They go off and n their own little world and give shots so they can cut on me. They know how to get the insurance company to pay for their procedures, they aren’t telling me what’s wrong and why this is happening cause they aren’t making money on it. I wished someone could tell us who we need to see? What our symptoms sound like?
I did find I have spinal stenosis, a straight neck, pinched nerve at C-7 T-1 the beginning of scerlosis and bone spurs all up and down my spine with osteoarthritis and osteopenia . I have a chiropractor who I think can get me out of pain in as little as 4-6 weeks. Hopefully I can come up with the Money for treatment.
What exactly is your diagnosis? Maybe we can compare notes.

Neal Halliman (not sure if it's spelled right) is a physical therapist or some kind of somatic therapist and has some great content on his channel. Our body is very complex and everything is intertwined, you're neck problems may be related to some kind of (old) emotional or physical stress (like an accident) on your nervous system. Also you may feel tightness in your pelvic area, since there is nerve connection.

Just wanted to point this out, as this is what I have discovered in my own healing journey. I've had all sorts of physical problems and immobility including the neck. But its slowly getting better and I'm doing it myself.
