Hi Alan. Really enjoyed this fascinating walk on Rubble Beach! And I’m impressed by how stable your gate was walking on all that rubble! 👍🏻💯💯👍🏻

fascinating if rather sad place Alan. I feel that even given the vibrancy, black and white is the more appropriate treatment somehow, but well done on finding images there - like Alan above / below, I think I'd struggle.
on a side note, I've always wanted to see the Gormleys. one day...

As I said to Alan, it is a sad place Nick, not photogenic tbh, but one of historical interest.

Wow, how interesting that the remains were scattered along the seafront/beach like that. It's not the sort of place I could see myself shooting if I am honest but it's certainly somewhere I would visit if I was in the area - because of its historical significance & just out of curiosity I reckon. I'll be honest by the end of this Allan I felt quite sad about it all seeing it laid out there. The image though at 10:18 shows that there are iimages to be made there - very good - although I don't think my seeing eye has that ability. atb Al

I agree Alan. Once you realise what is lying there, and WHY it's there you can't help but feel the sadness. Not a "pretty" place, but one of history.

Ever thought of visiting the Birkenhead Priory? A few photographs definitely to be had there, oldest building in Merseyside too.

Thanks Derek, it is a location I have photographed a few years ago - time I went back and did a vlog!
