You didn't dress the tube where you put the steady rest.
Do you know how "out of round" the tube is?
Your procedure is missing a few steps.
I recommend watching it carefully without fast-forward. because I'm doing the steps you said in the video.
So did the 6mm hole get a fitting welded on after you had assembled the cylinder? Does the O ring not get burned?
in fact, a piece is boiled before assembly. but it's one of the section I forgot to show in the video.

Question... Is there a need for cleaning the inside of the pipe? Is it rough? Or you use it as it is?
the pipes come pre-honed. I do not do any other operations except cleaning into the pipe. you know that there should be no dirt in the hydraulic installation.

@@victorcontreras1492 the type of insert varies according to the quality of chrome steel. but I usually use a stainless steel cutting tip (dnmg 0.4radius)

È stato commesso un errore grossolano, il foro e la saldatura del raccordo andrebbero fatti sempre prima della lavorazione e filettatura del cilindro perché se fatta dopo quest'ultima si ovalizza durante la saldatura
there's no need to worry. this weld was used for the video. we do tig welding under normal circumstances.
and what you say is true. it is more correct to perform the threading process after welding.
