❤ Daggers 🗡️
A dagger is a true purpose built blade ,shame on any man who
doesn't like a good dagger or even a bad one for that matter. 😞
Applegate is one of my very favorite and the CS Tai Pan too.
Make some more videos please, some great blades you have 🤙🏼🤙🏼
What do you want to see? What blade topic?
@@jackspade1889 anything on blades, how you use them, how you have in the past or might in the future, just your thoughts on some of the blades you have, there are not a lot of good videos out there on most blades you own so that would be great 🤙🏼
What's your favorite? All great in their own right!
Great question! There are stories connected with some. In the film “Roman Holiday” Audrey Hepburn’s character (the princess) is asked that question about her European tour. The expected response was “each in their own offered lovely bla bla bla) when suddenly she boldly states “Rome!” The Tracker Dan Steel Flame collab (for instance) I call the Christmas knife. Dan and Kelly were having an online auction. I was sitting in front of my Christmas tree enjoying Johnny Walker blue and the lights of the tree. In the background bing crosby’s white Christmas played while the auction began. I wanted this dagger. Someone else wanted all of the knives, just because. I watched the other blades go to the same person. There is a kind of politeness to raffling. You go up in $50 increments, let everyone get a chance to bid so they all get a chance to participate, and maybe sometimes let something go to someone you know will love it more than you. Well politeness and manners are very important to me. This other bidder wasn’t exactly polite or courteous. So I decided this dagger was coming home to Fuller House and That was That. So, the TD SF comes up. People start entering bids and I sit back. Then this other bidder comes in with a rude bid like punching a little kid for fun. So I respond to them in kind. The group responded in cheers and surprise. This was now a war. A crazy rich kid vs a broken middle aged insane Marine drinking Johnny Walker. By the end it was overtime and people were dogpiling bids on top of mine. They had to go back and retroactively adjust the price to the 2 minute grace period to disallow sniping. It was a bar fight and probably the most fun auction in the history of knife auctions. In the end that knife was the highest selling price of any TD knife until the same kid that just lost this dagger opened with the same price that just lost him the dagger on a different blade. Now I’m no rich kid and spent the next year paying off this one knife, but for me it was the principle. So this knife holds a special place in the collection. But the Benchmade I had to cut off a belt in order to make the video because it’s just always there. So…. All of them I guess?
@@jackspade1889 I remember that bidding war! And bid much earlier on it and others! Guess I didn't have enough JW Blue!
@@seatec575 it was a fun time! Let’s get you the one you want!
