Why Most People Never Reach Their Goals

  • Do you have that great idea in the back of your mind - a goal that lights you up, yet remains distant?
    And it has been sitting there for weeks, months or maybe even years.
    You seem ready to embark on that journey, after all, it could change your life. You can almost feel yourself taking those initial steps, but something seems to be holding you back.
    It could be that you're waiting for that ''perfect'' moment, or you've found yourself in the trap of self-doubt.
    You’re not alone in this. It’s actually a common process that most of us go through and it’s sad that so many people haven’t realized their full potential just because they are afraid to start and take the first step.

    what if you took the first step too many times, and always fail? I have been struggling with my eductation, I did not give up once, and I keep on going. But now I doubt myself, like, is this what im suppose to be doing? Will I ever get to succeed on something?
    great video btw, keep up the good work, your are a great human :)

    • @byrolands
      @byrolands  Год назад +1

      Carefully define what failure means to you!
      The fact that you took the first step is still a valuable experience, most people don't. Even if it didn't work out, you learned more about the process and yourself!
      And with education it's the same, if you never started the course, you wouldn't have found out how you feel about the subject.
      Remember, even if you finish the course and later down the road understand you want to pursue a different path, that's completely fine!
      It's all part of the process, not an all or nothing scenario. :)

      I've been trying to learn programming for YEARS, yet I quit so many times because of my laziness and I've always thought it might just not be for me, I really hope I can find the answer to that question soon

    • @byrolands
      @byrolands  Год назад +1

      I can answer from my experience.
      Before RUclips, I really wanted to get into dropshipping :D But the thing is, whenever I needed to work on it, I could barely get myself to do anything. I would rather play Dota 2 :D I thought I was really lazy, but it just wasn't for me and I was doing it for the wrong reasons (financial gain).
      But with RUclips, once I stop procrastinating, I can work for hours. I don't even want to play games, as this just seems more exciting and worthwhile to me.
      It's important to mention, once you get better at things, they also become more interesting. So don't give up on something too quickly to see how it really feels.
      I gave myself a year to go all in on this, if there were no results then I would have kept it at a hobby level and tried something else, but currently it's looking bright, so I removed the time limit. :)
      Just remember to be patient and trust the process!
      Hope this helped in some way :)

    • @redysom5383
      @redysom5383 Год назад +1

      @@byrolands Yes. It helped a lot. Thank you. As you said you have to be patient and trust the process. So in order to make sure if the thing is for you you have to sacrifice certain amount of time and effort. And the pain/struggle that comes with learning new skills can be overcome by imaging a little goal on the way to the finish line (that is mastering the skill). I am going to keep this in mind. ❤️❤️❤️
