  • Happy Friday! This week, I am watching my 1 year old nephew, so there are six kids in the house. :) It's been fun having a little one walking around and babbling, keeping us all busy. We are coming up on the end of our school year, and also starting all of our summer activities. I always find May to be such a busy month, with the school year and summer overlapping.

    Hey Friend, Happy Saturday. I love how Wesley knew that holes normally means you need new clothes, he’s so smart. 😊 I love that you are basing your routine/schedule on having a toddler in the house for the week. Thank you for giving us an overview of the kids school lessons and how much longer they have until school is done for them. 😊🥰

    I noticed the bag said large teabags so I was curious if you reuse it? It works for me because I don’t enjoy tea that has been steeped for too long so I can get at least 3 or 4 cups out of one teabag.

      Yes I do! I like a strong tea, and I keep the bag in the whole time I drink it, but I still will pour a second cup afterwards, and it’s still full of flavour 😊

    Two children are already done with school. I am sitting outside waiting for the 3rd to finish exams. Then, we are free for the summer. We will plan fun experiments and random recipes or activities for the summer. Since you homeschool, do you still try to make summers a bit more interesting? I always struggle with how much boredom to let the kids experience. Every moment doesn't have to be a good time. But we also want to create some fun memories.

      Yay for summer break! We do a lot of mornings at the park, the beach, or getting together with friends. Evenings are pretty busy with sports that the kids are in. I feel like our schedule is kept pretty busy, with a mix of planned activities and time at home to yes, be bored!

    I’m curious if you have a set weekly cleaning schedule you follow?

      The kids have chores each day, which is mostly laundry, meal prep or clean up, and keeping rooms clean.
      I will usually vacuum by the front door/back door through the week, but most chores happen on the weekend. Washing linens, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning washrooms, all happen on Saturday 😊

      I don’t usually have issues with potatoes through out the year. Once in a while, there will be one that’s a bit off, but that is extremely rare.. Perhaps it has to do with how one stores them. I keep them in the fridge year-round and they last an extremely long time..

    • @kathyborden9880
      @kathyborden9880 4 месяца назад +2

      @@mariakoufalis1487 they’re coming from the store that way, here in Alberta anyway. I’ll cut into one, there’ll be a lot of black parts that are rotten in it, super gross!

    • @mariakoufalis1487
      @mariakoufalis1487 4 месяца назад

      @@kathyborden9880 oh you mean from the get-go, in that case yes that is unacceptable and should likely be returned to the store for a refund. In this video, she did say that she’s had the potatoes for a while and hasn’t been using them quickly so your case is a bit different.
