    So refreshing to see a cabbie who doesn’t mind when the customer puts the Google maps on. I’ve been a cabbie here in London and in Hong Kong as well and I’ve heard stories from passengers about drivers not wanting to take their preferred route because “I’ve been doing it longer than you’ve been alive love” and getting stuck in traffic and the customer being a bit miffed. My philosophy is, your paying so even if you wanted to go around the M25 no problem sir whatever you say. Keep up the good work Ollie!

    Great video as always. I really appreciate these as I've just started the knowledge. I do miss being able to see the time of day on the top of the map as it gives a sense of how long jobs take you and how long you wait between jobs. Thanks a lot for the videos

    • @ALondonCabbie
      @ALondonCabbie  10 месяцев назад

      Thanks Nabil. I’m trying to find the balance. I felt the larger map took over too much of the screen and current feedback has been more positive towards the smaller maps. It’s hard but on the next few videos I edit, I’ll try and include the journey time from start to finish on each job I do. (I have 2 completed uploads already) so it’ll be after those ones. Good luck on your knowledge journey 👍

    I'm confused by the title. Isn't it illegal anyway to broom a job that is within twelve miles of the centre of London and/or under an hour in duration?

    • @ALondonCabbie
      @ALondonCabbie  7 месяцев назад

      It’s not “illegal” but certainly can cause licensing issues (for repeat complaints) and rightly so. I was just highlighting that by not brooming a smaller job, a bigger one could always be just round the corner 👍
