- Here I am playing Yes' song 'To Be Over' from their album 'Relayer'. This is the version that Steve Howe plays on his video 'Live Remedy'. I chose to play it on classical guitar rather than steel strings.NO TAB SO PLEASE DON'T ASK FOR IT.

To be an artist, doesn't mean you need to be credited as a professional. There is not a card or license to be an artist. YOU ARE AN ARTIST. For me, the best guitar Stevie Howe solo ever is on that song. TO BE OVER... Amazing!
This has always been my favorite trck on that album. You have made my day man, absolutey brilliant!
Beautifully done. One of my favorites Yes songs. I played through my PA system, it sounded incredible.
One of my favorite songs

Cant fault this version, amazing playing, thanx for being true to sound.
Nice job Chris...One of my favorite YES songs...
wow sir! just amazing and relayer is my favorite yes album. kudos
Fantastic. You've done a remarkable job with this. Thank you.
Just incredible--what a great interpretation!!
Great work, and thanks for the "lesson". It's fun learning by watching your videos, though - - hard, but fun.
This is probably one of my favourite acoustic pieces by Howe, and it wasn't even originally acoustic. When I heard this for the first time I thought to myself, "no way is he going to recreate the whole thing on one guitar", but then as usual Steve pulled a "Steve Howe" move and blew me away.
Great work on this, Chris.
Very nice, so smooth and timing is spot-on. I'll never get there, but you inspired me to try mine again. So very clean, refreshing rendition - it is a difficult piece to attempt, let alone master as you have here.
Utterly mesmerising - you play this so purely. I need this tab!
Very lovely...
A really nice arrangement....
Beautiful!!
chris you are amazing...good work.....
I'm jealous. This song is beautiful. Oh I'm so jealous and inspired.
Amazing man.. i saw some of your videos and you are a great musician.. really great job, congratulations!
love this Chris!
Excellent !
Great job sir! I enjoyed that a lot.
Amazing . You're the man that's for sure
Thank you for your interpretation of Steve Howe's interpretation of this great song.
: )
I agree with the comment below, 4:26 of pure pleasure. Can't say it any better. Have a great day man.
Aaaaaargh. Why are there no tabs of this beautiful song on the internet and 5000 jonas brothers tabs.
Always a stellar job, Chris.

Thanks, theYesfan. Your comments are appreciated.
Very impressive this interpretation!
Thanks for sharing ;oP
TarkusNYC, I'm happy you are enjoying my videos. Unfortunately I don't play any Bach at this point. :) And unfortunately, I don't make a dime by playing. Not an accountant, but yes, an office job. I do have some original compositions, but nothing I'm confident enough to share. Thanks again for watching.
@MDLOP8 Thanks, MDLOP8! I wish I could say it was my interpretation, but it is a cover of Steve Howe's solo interpretation. Thanks for the comment, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks. I wish I could take credit for this arrangement, but it was taken from Steve Howe's arrangement. I'm happy you enjoyed it.
beautiful good job, more
thanks kingfisherblue. I do not have the score for this, and no, at this point I haven't learned 'Solly's Beard'. Perhaps one day. Thanks for the comment!
Why thank you! Your words are too kind.
thank you for your kind words.
Chris. I love YES too. I can't tell you how great it is that you've made these videos. I wish you'd try doing some King Crimson. Matte Kudesai would be awesome.
I too think you're really a maestro but in plus you love this kind of music thats's better than to be a maestro so you can play with conscience and love ;-))
off the hook...huge fan of yours!
Damn, you really know how to take beautiful sounds out from guitar. Makes me practice more harder too. :-)))))))
sounds great
Thanks, DeanEtc!
Thank you, Pedro Pereira!
This is good ! Thanks
Thank you, Th Pdv!

thanks for your kind words, funds450.
Thanks, fingazization!
Could you do this again with the fretboard facing the camera? I gathered a few parts from the Montreaux video, but other parts I'm baffled. You nailed it man. Help us out!
Beautiful. Is there any way you can record facing the camera more? I would love to get a better look at the fingerings. Anyway, thank you for sharing this with the internet.
Thank you, gustavito7.
Thanks, mlevine217!!
Thank you, diego ardenghi!
thanks, Tama12pc.
@Maravalmusic Thanks, Maravalmusic! As I mentioned previously, this interpretation belongs to Steve Howe, not me, I'm just copying his. :)
@amccann7 Thanks Amy! ;)
@meandmywalrus Thanks, meandmywalrus!
@yea78861 Thanks, Tim! :)

Excellent interpretation Sr. Chris.
Where are do you live?
Wow great i loved the picking amazing.you decided not to do so much with the effects. I loved the crescendo
@jamespaynefuller Thanks for that, jamespaynefuller!
@andysezthanx2 Thanks, andysezthanz2!
@jamesnich99 Thanks, jamesnich99! I'm afraid I can't play 'OBT' backwards. :)
Chris, I spent all last night watching you play, and I plan to watch some of these again this morning. In my dreams, I can play like that. Do you have any original compositions? And by any chance, do you play Bach?
I sure hope you play for a living and are not actually an accountant or something boring. ;-)
Thanks, utoob968
We'd love it if you would share
I think that Steve Howe is there, playing "off camera"... Well done Chris. I am learning this piece from Guitar Pro (I don't suppose you submitted it, did you?) and use your video as a reference.
I don't remember how long it took me. Probably about a week to get fluent, give or take.
Hmm. I wonder if Chris Lawley is a fan of Music? I mean, it's not as if he owns a CD or two! (or like, probably more like 900 or so. Chris...those are a 'lot' of CD's on the wall behind you). About the Vid Chris..well done. Only 1 question tho: Can you play TBO backwards? Now that would be different. : )
quite a few key changes - not to be unexpected
the stereo reverb is appreciated
Close.
Damn it. Is there not even at least music for this song?
No tab ... so I will have to study your fingers intensely! LOL
hey i really liked this! good job! check out my vocal cover of this song
Cant. Thatd be anti-union.
Sorry.
Far and away a lost classic.
Yes is so disrespected.
