    Impressive brush clearing. Skidder does make things easier, compared to other manual means with a shoulder-harnessed brushcutter for example. Skidders are extremely handy for large areas as evidenced in your videos. Thanks for the eye-opener. I'm nearing the end of my productive age with shoulder-harnessed machines!

    How does this machine work in slightly rocky areas? Does it throw a lot of rock up?

    • @SchottServices
      @SchottServices  4 месяца назад +2

      It works fine. You just need to mindful of larger size rocks or boulders and keep brush cutter hovering a bit. I am sure it's not ideal but I have hit many big objects like tires, fencing, cement blocks, boulders and shopping carts! Most of it unavoidable or unseen. And brush cutter is still going strong after 4-5 years of using it a few times a month. Large rocks/objects 3-6" or bigger will get thrown and sometimes far. Pebbles or river rock size will mostly get just turned around inside. But always be careful around houses or windows/doors. Same as when using a commercial lawn mower! This attachment has bi-directional motor so you can throw debris away from anything you want to avoid damaging.

    How often do you have to change the blades?

      Just changed them and bought it a few years ago. But probably should have changed sooner. But it's like any type of cutting equipment, it depends on the usage. Thanks for watching!
