- In this week woodturning video, I will make a stunning vase meticulously handcrafted from black walnut wood, with vibrant coloured veneers delicately placed between each segmented ring and piece. Used the super cool Wedge-Pro for the first time, and it helped to cut perfect tight rings what is essential when it comes making segmented projects.
To enhance both the aesthetics and longevity of this remarkable creation, we have applied mineral oil to bring out the rich grain patterns in the black walnut wood. This not only highlights its inherent beauty but also provides protection against everyday wear and tear.

I wasn't sure where the turning was headed and it is beautiful. The colors from veneers are subtle.
