the may look similar but are very different in performance, the wrx is more of a rally car and evo more of a street machine...in my opinion. I like both equally

@@AspectOfTheArchivistmy evo is a voltex 7 with a 9 engine swap. i just cant see any other similar car that i can trade it off to without feeling it being a downgrade.

Tell you what, if they would have never left, the STIs and Evos would have been one of the better 4 door sports cars in the world. But since Evo left, Subaru had and still has no reason to quarrel or fight any brands.

@LAN Evo I would say both cars are about even, specially for the same years. Majority of them even out, hence why we see a split between subbie owners and evo owners. Either way, if Evos came back, subbie would surely up their game and the friendly competition will come back and would benefit both sides.

Rens it’s an external waste-gate. Highly recommended for Subaru’s running front mount, catless or big turbo
External wastegate with ebcs causing flutter to control boost and prevent boost creep
