@@hibiki8473true and yet for a first nfl start it looks like he simply did his job well lik he had been doing it for years already. Might not be flashy but as they pointed out in the roast he hes kind of boring to at watch at times because he is so consistent in executing an offense that runs on screens, and thats what allowed him to be the goat because all he ha fo do is execute his job in a qell built machine. He doesnt have ro compensate for a shitty oline or anything like that by escaping and completing high risk plays. At the end if the day its still impressive that he came in during a first NFL start and made basically no mistakes. He got his playmakers the ball so efficiently that they were able to simply trounce the defense with ease- a lot of first game starters would not be able to pull that off. If he had gone to many other teams he would have been good but not the goat. The Patriots being built so well allowed him to execute a consistent game plan over and over again because he didnt have to make up for other parts s of the offense lacking- he could just do his job and he did it very well

I kept thinking to myself, "Are none of these people eager to see what this kid could do? What happened to all the callers who wanted to put in Michael Bishop (the season before)?" Yeah, look at the 49ers right now. Purdy's game against Cowboys reminds me of this game.

I always liked Manning, but anytime you watch Manning vs Brady highlights it becomes so obvious that Brady was better.

A typical BB era team win, defensive turnovers and lots of running back plays, Brady made a couple of throws when needed, complimentary football!

" Brady made a couple of throws *when needed,* "
Was Brady supposed to do it with that squad? other teams put tons of talents around their QBs and pray that their QB will be able to do it.
