Daniel's 70th Week begins in Daniel chapter 7 through 12. Chapter 7 describes the time culminating in Christ's kingdom on earth. Chapter 8 goes in-depth about the beginning of the daily sacrifice, the transgression of desolation, the sanctuary being trampled underfoot, and Christ's return to cleanse the sanctuary. The holy one describes the time as "true" evenings and mornings. The word "true" means they are literally 2,300 days and not years. Chapter 9 is where we see the 70th Week described as "one week" (7 years). The "middle of the week" is what we know as Day 1,260. God said He would accomplish 70 years in the desolations of Jerusalem in Daniel 9:2. The way to know for sure that the visions in chapter 7 through 12 refer to the same time period is by the phrase used in Daniel 7:25 "a time and times and half a time", and Daniel 12:7 "a time, times, and half a time". Daniel 7:25 He shall speak pompous words against the Most High, shall persecute the saints of the Most High, and shall intend to change times and law. Then the saints shall be given into his hand for a time and times and half a time. Daniel 8:13, 14, 26 Then I heard a holy one speaking; and another holy one said to that certain one who was speaking, “How long will the vision be, concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled underfoot?” And he said to me, “For two thousand three hundred days; then the sanctuary shall be cleansed.” “And the vision of the evenings and mornings which was told is true; therefore seal up the vision, for it refers to many days in the future.” Daniel 9:2, 27 in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, understood by the books the number of the years specified by the word of the Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. When Jesus cried out - my God why hast thou forsaken me - it was necessary for God to withdraw himself and the Holy Spirit from yeshua( Jesus) so that Jesus experienced the crucifixion completely as a man without supernatural intervention ( which was really important ) that is why he agonised in the garden of gethsemene the night before because he knew what was expected of him on the cross and that God would have to withdraw himself completely for this to have effect in the spiritual realm At any time Jesus could have called to the angels to carry him away from this agony but Jesus knew what he was doing was to fight against the powers and rulers of the darkness of the spiritual realms and to make a spectacle of them infront of the whole world by dying as an innocent man ( a physical man) which was recorded in psalm 22
God can never stop being god, although he experienced in the flesh this, his divine nature never was affected, the hypostatic union must be addressed under this interpretation
God told Daniel not to seal the book of Daniel but told John not to seal Revelation. What is your explanation of this. I'm told Daniel was written out of chronological order!

Agree with this. Ken Gentry has a great book on this called Before Jerusalem Fell. Pastor Jeff Durbin has great teaching on this as well
