Sam I don’t know if you know Father Luis Toro, but with his help I was able to find in the Gospels the parents of all those attributed to be brothers of Jesus except Judas the Zealot. However he was not from galilea or Nazareth, he was a Canaanite.

So yes, they are brothers (not blood brothers) of Jesus, but not children of Mary. 1 Cor. 15:6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once. (Jesus did have more brothers, more than five hundred!! But NOT CHILDREN OF MARY).

There is no need to ask the beings in heaven to pray for us. For starters we should all be able to pray for ourselves. Now of this is not posible for some reason, then we are given the church the body of CHRIST for this mission. Where there are 2 or 3 gathered in JESUS name HE is there. I would like to see the scripture that states that we should pray to heavenly saints angels or mary. Otherwise the only scroture we need to worry about is the ones where JESUS says on my name.

When we choose a religion, or even a denomination, we are then categorically saying that many other denominations or religions are wrong... That means that anyone who converts to ANY religion including Sam himself, would then be in the same position as this young man where someone else could say they were being "youthful" or "arrogant." When Sam chose Christianity, he was now saying he knows better than thousands of years of Hunduism, 1400 years of Islam, etc etc. This is the logical fallacy of special pleading. Sam invokes a rule that would logically apply to any religious adherent, including his own self, but posturing as though it only has implications for his caller. Even more hilarious is if you follow the ramifications of this reasoning, the logical conclusion would be that NO person should convert to ANY religion by 25 because you inexorably have to conclude that thousands of years of other traditions are not right and Sam thinks this is somehow too young......... yet at the same time Sam would never object to someone becoming Catholic at 25, or even 15.......Special pleading..... Sam's wrong because if that were the case why cant we find a scripture where someone prays to abraham? or Moses? or any other prophet? i'll tell you why, because it is a stretch to assume that because we aught to pray for eachother somehow angels and other dead saints can also do that for us. thats not biblical. further more, bible doesnt say anyone prays in heaven, why would they if God is right there with them? not to mention that everytime scripture gives us a glimps of whats in heaven all we read is angels and elders and creatures worshiping, says NOTHING about prayer or intercession for others on earth. God has given us the tools to reach him through prayer and how to pray and even pray for eachother and fasting with prayer and God is explicit on how to do it. so why would he not be as explicit as to tell us there is more power in asking the dead who are now in heaven for prayers? OH maybe because we are not supposed to? i rest my case. Sam has no valid argument, only presuppositions and playing gymnastics with scripture.
