I am hoping that Demi Lovato quitting music is just a rumor too
It is cause her mother confirmed that demi is not quitting
She's just taking more time off after getting out of rehab to fully recover. Her mom said "she's not in a hurry to get back". She wants to be able to come back stronger than ever for herself and for her fans, supposedly.
Don't worry Demi already confirmed she's coming back hard in 2019.
I actually think it would be best for her to not put the pressure on herself with going on another world tour... Or at least not one where she is like one day at one place and the next, at the next... I think it puts a serious strain on her mental health and is overall extremely stressful... But that's her decision to make. She should do what feels best for her and what HELPS her to stay healthy (even though I would kind of be crushed if she ever did quit music at all😅)
I really hope that wasn't true, but I understand if she needs to. I don't like it but I won't hate her for it

I know JoJo is ONE of the best vocalists of this generation. They implied that she was THE vocalist of this generation which I don't think is true. And I know that JoJo is technically better than Demi. Ariana and Tori are better than Demi too in the technical field, but Demi has the golden ability to apply emotion at ANY TIME regardless of what song she's singing. As far as THE vocalist of this generation...I would say it comes down to Ariana and Tori.
I still think Demi is incredibly underrated. An amazing voice & musician.

im not a vocal coach nor do i know anything about how to be a good singer, but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know that Demi can SAAAAANG! i cant stand when i see comments saying she isnt good/cant sing. she is by far my favorite artist. i could watch videos of her singing stone cold allll day. her voice gives me chills. i watched a video about her being "done" with singing and i think what i got from it was that she was just taking some time away from it and not jumping right back into it. i hope that true because i dont know if i can live in a world where demi lovato doesnt sing :(

I saw demi live 2017 and I was in tears the WHOLE time. Her voice is a force and its so hard to hear that strength and not have chills.
I feel like Demi just isn’t 100% used to doing the high notes from the songs in her album so frequently yet so her voice is getting stronger but is still maybe a bit pressuring to do such notes so frequently yet. However, some shows she’ll skip a few high notes while she saves her voice and then a few shows after, her high notes sound AMAZING because her voice is in good condition. I’m not that well educated on singing so don’t come for me if this is wrong it’s just a guess seeming as I’m kind of a big Lovatic and have watched many videos and heard many recordings of Demi singing.
She’s such a perfectionist in the studio, so she keeps going and going until she perfectly nails the notes. Fall In Line, for example, she straight up told Christina that she didn’t think she’d ever be able to hit her high notes live because of how long it took her to nail them in the studio.
Jessica Emily well I think when she comes back and if she were to train and take vocal lessons to improve her technique she’d definitely be able to hit that Bb5 cause she’s hit it before but only for like 0.5 of a second 😂😂😂

I'm not sure about this but I heard that Demi's mom confirmed that she's not quitting, she just need to take a break, care of her self and focus in her sobriety. She is doing really good she just got out of rehab and she also posted a photo of her voting she look healthy and happy. Our Queen will comeback soon ❤
