I've always loved those wheels. Growing up in the Bay Area and seeing his car in person, Steve Jobs had them on his Silver SL55 AMG, which was the last car he drove/owned and I always thought it looked amazing on it. So classic.
I have an 320 cdi 2007 and love it. and it has one real good thing in the back. LSD differential. when it is real winter that lsd get me up and go even up to about 30 cm snow. just turn of esp and go.
I've always thought the W211 just got better with time while it was in production and even to this day. This design just seemed to be an evolution of the w210, and yet was still a classic design. The tech was exactly enough and the gauges were done well without being just another screen. The same is true of the wagon as well. This and a certain Japanese midsized luxury sedan, that was available as a hybrid, v6, and v8 in the same generation, (that is no longer with us) are two of my favorites from this 00s.
Recently bought one as a second car for cheap. It almost got 300k km but still runs si smooth and good. Im honestly baffled how well this car is made. And it could very well reach half a million KMs. Mercedes back then was probably the best car maker
My most favorite era/generation of the E-Class! Btw, can you make a video where you try to modernize this W211 E-Class? I would love to see how it would look if it was designed for 2024! 😃😄
11:07 you don't need to fold it. Just push it from 'outside' and the cup holder will slide out, no need to fold the top compartment of the armrest. The other space is to store a notebook , pen or phone.
This one featured is literally just the base model with a package it doesn't have many features for 2009. 9000 is crazy for the condition that the thing is in....
E60 aged terribly, looked great at the time, you're out of your mind. The M550 M sport used to be one of my favorite cars but was let down by an absolute junk of a V8...
I have a pre-facelift 2003 w211 E500. Still looks and drive amazingly, too.
Wow, what perfect timing, I just bought one of these yesterday!
If it’s been well maintained , it’s a beauty. If you drive them sensibility they would last forever

Back when mercedes made good cars, not the generic cheap plastic designs with the same interiors for all models
At least they still keep the V8 around, and I'm more of a BMW person. Just heard that the V8s still going into the 2030s so all hope is not lost
And now you get the cheap, crude feeling 4 cylinder in all E350's due to EPA reasons..
I owned a 2006 W211.
I’m back to W210’s…Wagons. 1999 or earlier. Not the face lifted 2000+
Ditto- love the original W210. 1999 is perfect

The best looking Mercedes honestly
Agreed
@@twongreen9968 currently working on one and the old adage is true, the pretty ones are pretty high maintanence.
The car that the Lexus GS wanted to be.

I agree I have a 2006 been reliable so far at 141k I miss my Infiniti m35 though

I recently bought 2006 e350 with 69000 miles , I love it

I am thinking of buying one. They're common in Lebanon.
as that guy's brother i prefer the c207 e class coupe
its an excellent car. i have the 2004 e320
I have it too

We have the same exact car same color 110K miles, minimal issues
I just bought one for $1000, Mint condition
infiniti q45's had backup cameras in 2004.
I have this one, I love driving it my E 550. I DO have a newer mercedes. But my old one is superior,
If only it were a CDI, perfect.
Perfect sport elegance car
I preffer the w211 e63 2008. The 6.2l is better than that 5.5l kompressor.
Love it ❤
The e60 BMW aged miles better than the e class, not a ugly car but it looks like a 2000s car.
Then go to a video about that car the. they both aged great
@@khalilmontgomery7165 no I’m going to watch and comment
It is a 2000's car not a 1990's car lol

I wish I can drive my Mercedes for ever.... but he doesn't let me 🍋🍋😂
your man wants some of that merc action as well
Rust in peace. Literally.
True. I drenched mine in fluid film
Only the Mercedes made up to 2003 had the rust issues because Mercedes used water based paint during that time.
@@bobbyz23 true but he is talking about the subframes
@@fabtube7177 The subframes didn’t rust much either, only the early models did.
@@bobbyz23 my w211 09, last year of this model has 1+mm thickness layer of rust when i bought it.
It would look a whole lot better if the tires were clean and shined geesh.
