If the younglings knew all these they wouldn’t have died by my hands.
anakin no
Your breaking my heart
Youre taking a path that i can't follow
IT'S OVER ANAKIN! I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND
@@Mellowmarsh360ANAKIN Y E S !
Been practicing the number system this afternoon. A few hiccups but I'm slowly getting there, and loving it!
Yesss!
@@Mikestarwalker Thanks.
Similar to Hiten Mitsurugi Kuzuryusen, that 9 attack strikes
Update plz!
@@Mikestarwalker Hey for the number system does it change based on dominant hand? Or is it the same regardless? Also does it matter which side the evens or odds are on?
Rey and Kylo: I’m gonna pretend that I didn’t see that.
FR
Didn't have the level of training of prequel Jedi so it makes sense
@@Double-R-Nothingkylo literally got train by the chosen one's son
@SteveGaming69420 And that translates to lightsaber skills not seen for nearly half a century, because...?
And don't say Luke was at that level, because he was swinging like a baseball bat on that sail barge.
There are zero reasons for lightsaber fights to suck.
My mom and I were just having fun and doing a friendly lightsaber fight and she went for a 9 and for some reason I did the proper block for a 9. I was shocked because I've never done that 😂😎
Force is stronger with this one
The force is strong with this one, he must be trained
I love this 😁
This was really cool! A thing I don't see alot of people talk about is how you should be "aiming" at your opponent, and not their lightsaber. They will block their attack that is coming straight at them, and same if they are attacking you. I like alot of what you said here. THANK YOU!
Using this for when I babysit, I will make master Skywalker proud…
I cant be the only one who gets that
Oh god no...
My 12 year old was luke-warm on the idea of lightsabers, but now that we have them he loves dueling, and said that they are some of the coolest toys we've ever bought. This video is excellent! Thank you!
Really excited that I finally ordered my first lightsaber which should be coming in tomorrow I hope. Can’t wait😁😁
What was the company that you bought from?
Nice
Awesome
The first order

This marks my first day as a Padawan. Im currently practicing the blocks because they were easier and I got somewhat good at it. I'm gonna try to practice attacks tomorrow. Thanks!
Very useful!! Very well explanatory!! And damn at 1:39, Mike got his butt kicked 🤣
But, it wasn’t mike
That's not Mike lol
I heard the "HELLO THERE!" in the beginning and immediately had to pause the video as I burst out laughing
trying to learn this with my grandfather using lightsabers made out of pool noodles and plastic tubing. keep doing what ya doing mike
I have created my own choreography. First I attack a 5, then a 6, then a 5 again, block an 8, push, attack a 2, then a 1, block a 9, after that I do a flourish. then I attack an 8, block a 6 inverted, attack a 4, then a 3, then I do a vertical Shii-Cho block, attack a 8 then block an 6 inverted again then I attack a 9 which gives me a chance to stab him quickly. This is a very affective combo. Thank you so much Mike!
My brother and I started dueling and this has been very helpful with learning it. The only thing that is a bit complicated is the number system. If you attack 1, you swing right and your partner defends his left. If you defend 1, you hold left and they swing right, it’s the reciprocal that makes it difficult. So what my bro and I did was reciprocal one of us. So if he attacks 1, his right, I defend 1, my left. And if I attack 1, it’s my left and his right. I’m reading his numbers left to right, while he is reading my numbers left to right. I know it might be hard to understand but it seems to be working so far, but whoever does understand if you think I’m screwing up or have a suggestion let me know.
Looking forward to filming my first saber choreo scene thanks to your number system it made things real smooth in working it out appreciate the tips 🤝🏾
Hey when its done can i see it, i love that kind if thing.
Thank you for this! My partner and I have a vague Star Wars theme to our wedding and decided (to tie in the the theme) to do a first battle instead of a first dance. This video will be super helpful to help us come up with the choreography!
That sounds awesome! May the Force be with you both. :)
update! we need updates man!
Awesome vid, I'm currently in an animation competition so this should help a lot, only thing is normally if someone is cutting upwards, a low block exposes your head for a quick riposte
So incredible. I've been watching about spinning well enough, but this is the stuff I needed. Getting my first lightsaber this coming week. So Excited!
0:25: Stance
0:36: The Number System
1:48: Blocking
2:42: Number Combo Decipher(854639?)
2:53: Practice 1-9
4:11: Inverted Blocks
4:50: Hanging Parries
I think the 4 is a 3 because it came from the same side as 5
Not the hero we needed, but the one we deserved.
Im being either Anakin or Luke for Halloween this year and figured I should know some saber moves so I clicked on this video and it did not disappoint. Within an hour I got the attacks and blocking lessons down. Thank you so much! 😊
This was so helpful in learning attack and defense. I watched other guides and couldn’t get it but I kept up with you thanks master.
hey thank you for being really easy to understand, me and my friend are trying to learn lightsaber dueling but we live in an area where its not popular so this helps alot
Fantastic! Really appreciate this effort to teach us younglings the way of the Lightsaber.
Anakin 😳😳😏😏
@@skeltor5383 Now that's a name i have not heard in a long time... A very long time...
It's so simple but awesome. Thank you so much for this tutorial!
I just got my ultra saber thank you for such a great tutorial me and my boys battle will be LEGENDARY!
It's just so good for your entire self, for body an mind 🥰
I’ve been practicing the number system myself, I got the attacks down, and numbers one through four down for blocking, and I can invert block 1 & 2. This definitely helps me with finding out how my Jedi persona will fight
Fantastic video!!! Excellent explanations. Thank you for sharing your knowledge !!
This is awesome I just recently bought my first lightsaber and this tutorial is helping so much thank you for this
Thanks man Star Wars is my childhood and you just help make it more realistic
Thanks for this video, I’ve recently become obsessed with wanting to create my own lightsaber battle choreography and this is a great first step
I feel like a geek watching this, im not into star wars, but i love using lightsabers and this taught me so much on the mechanics and other basic information. Thankyou!
*THANK YOU MATES!* Now I can complete my training to become a great Force user! 🎇🗡
I already invented my own way of using the lightsaber techniques
@@pr-zk4im Really, show me!
Show you I don't need any evidence to support my claim
Left Fanexpo with 2 shiny battle ready sabers. Fiancé and I are crushing it with these tips. Much Thanks!
Hell yeah this is great! Thanks for all the info and put very simply too
My friend and I plan on doing a show for kids on Halloween, and are glad to find anything to help.
Love your tutorial! I'm a stage fight director and I can say: Very well done! Do you do this professionally or just as a hobby? My personal (and of course not objective) take on this: For beginners, I only teach 1,2,3,4 and 8 now; i avoided 5 and 6, because the differentiation for beginners is sometimes difficult. It often happened to me, that one student parried 6 [as at 2:08 in your video] and the attacker aimed too high (on shoulder level), and because the 5/6 parrys are quite weak really defend a strong hit, the defender would hit himself on the head (of course the attack shoudn't hit that hard when practicing) [And: The attacker aimed a little too high at 3:51, too ;-) ]. I also teach 7 only if needed, because that often caused some almost-accidents. If someone accidentally hits the shoulder, thats ok, but the crotch area is a little more vulnerable ;-) The inverted blocks (or hanging parrys, as i call them) are always cool 😀, that stabing moves (9) are for advanced student in my workshops. Keep the good work up! Love your videos! Always a joy to watch!
Thank you so much this was very helpful I can't wait to teach this to my nephew because I just figured it out I spent like an hour in my backyard figuring out the whole thing blocking and attacking
Thank you for teaching me this!!! ❤ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘 ❤
I learned so much from this! Thanks!
Thanks, this is super useful
Dude! That video was the $4!7!!! Thank you for posting this! Such a KA way to learn!
You guys are crazy good!!😯😯😱👍👍👍👍👍👍
Me just causally watching this without owning a lightsaber lol
The way she finished you launghing devilously. Brilliant
Nice tutorial! Thank you very much.
very helpful! keep up the good work!
This was EPIC my whole class is now in Star Wars I am now on vacation but I will be back and I will show him my skills because of you TYSM
Hey!! Thank so much for this amazing Tutorial. I´m a teacher and woll give a star wars course in my school. This is totally a very good video for the beginning
You guys are awesome
thanks this helped me have amazing blade and sorcery duels
I can't wait to use the system to train my little brother. He and I both have actual metal lightsabers, something I'm very proud of, so I'm going to teach him about this and show him this video.
The best tutorial
I think these would be amazing for sword fighting too!
thanks for this !!
I'm going to be having a lightsaber scene in my future video so this helped! Thank you.
Great job❤
Cant wait to order my saber. I should be ordering it soon. It’s a crimson dawn banshee, can’t wait!!
Where did you get it? Did it work?
Thx sooo much for this👍🔥💯
Really helpful, thanks!
me and my brother in law are wanting to get sabers and duel each other, hes more of a staff guy (a huge darth maul fan) and i am wanting to learn and master form III because it is well inline with who i am as a person and my strength. i have always been a very defensive and resilient person so i know i would excel at it. just getting the money up to get even the most basic of duel ready sabers so we may practice has been a challenge in of itself. however long it may take THIS is the video i will be coming back to in order to learn and to grow as a saber duelist. hell maybe if i can get good enough i could make it a goal to one day try and go pro with it.
Thanks!
Currently translating this into my goaltending for hockey helping a lot
Thanks! Planning on convincing my mom to get me an Nsaber for Christmas :)
Thank you master
"Hello there!"
😂 Instant like...👍
Speaking as a traditional martial artist with almost 18 years of experience, I'm seeing a lot of Original Trilogy influence, which were themselves largely based in traditional longsword and katana styles like kendo and bohurt, in these lightsaber basics.
This will be very useful to duel in a revan cosplay
Thanks i can finally become a sith
This is dope
thank you
"..the number one thing to get hit are your knuckles.."
I laugh as I look down to my index fingers, purple and sore.
Thanks so much! Made my day reenacting order 66 at the temple so much easier
Alright! Another learnings.
Thanks a lot me and my brother got neopixel base-lits and we’ve been battling alot
Gotta love the live-action Mara Jade cameo.
Thank you for helping me pull of a ankian🙂
That’s Awesome
I want to make a star wars fan film so this is helpful
Did it wot a stick dis is tooo goood
Can’t wait to practice this at home! Once i’m getting used to it i might buy an actual saber!
I am also doing this with my grandma it is fun to practice with her
Thanks man now I can actually say I know how to fight like a jedi
I’m a GOD at it
is it weird how the fight combo at 2:46 is actually what i was thinking about when he first mentioned phone number combinations
Very epic
also thank you for making this it was very helpful and understandable for a ten-year-old
NOICE NOICE 👌🙏🤘🔥
This could be a good foundation for swordsmanship when we actually do get energy swords irl
I would like to mention I will want to train this and not what school is try to memories the song that we are going to sing at our graduation
Trying this later with my lightsabers fr childhood
the thing I have trouble with the leg blocks like the ones you show at around 2:01-2:04 with doing the rotation like that and I know why so you see I don't only do lightsaber but I also do historical US civil war cavalry sabre fencing and with the cavalry swords being they are meant to be one-handed because first off cav would normally carry a rifle like a sharps carbine or cav carbine or a revolver like an 1860 Remington single action army. second off is it was easy to draw and use in a hurry weather it be in the saddle or on foot im used to just sliding the block to the other side like you would do with the cav sabre.
Good....good!
You guys should do a tutorial for malak vs revan when revan severed Malala lower jaw
Hello I just came across your videos and y’all are amazing! I’m am starting with your basic choreography video and I just wanted to let you know great work on the videos and tutorials! Also what sabers do you use when you duel? I have a neopixal saber from imperial workshop but I’m pretty sure if I dueled with it I would break my blade 😂
Thank you very much, the younglings were no match for me.
I bought me a lightsaber. Gonna practice soon
Thank you, gonna try this on my infant
