I was a Benedictine Monk for 5 years (a level of Christian commitment few make) and so lost my home, profession, and left with nothing including no job skills (the demand for atheist theologians & Latin translators is pretty low ....). I know clergy of several denominations who realize the more you study the Bible, the less credible it is. It can be rough -- and with the Clergy Project and other support groups, it's becoming a challenge Churches are beginning to address -- with absolute terror (normally suppression & denial).

73% of ministers in the Dutch Reform Church are atheist. Also, many of the people in the pews I are atheist. I also know Mennonite minister in Kansas who is an atheist. He told me that being a minister is just a job. He preaches to be kind to one another, and work for peace!!
I belong to the Clergy Project. I get more support by meeting with a Free Inquiry Group in my area. Clergy Project is great, but I think that many are in struggles that I am familiar with..... not easy!
I'm sure, it's like starting over. I have thought for years, there must be some pastors out there that no longer believe, and just keep preaching because they don't know what else to do.
I went through exactly this from age 6 to thirteen. My mom was very religious and my dad a non practicing Roman Catholic. My father although religious encouraged free thought and critical thinking. So when I told my dad at 11 I was wiccan he was OK my mom not so much. Then when I finally came out and told them I'm an atheist at 22, and that I never believed in God, because it wasn't rational. My dad was dumbfounded and my mother told me that I was a seeking soul and that I needed to get baptized and that she would pray for me. They are more accepting now then they once were, but we have a long way to go. I still haven't told the rest of my family and in-laws I'm afraid they might have a conniption fit or have a stroke if they were to find out. More then likely they would disown me.
Your are a very rude person, with severe mental issues only a medical professional can diagnose. Especially because you are attacking me, when I said nothing derogatory towards you or anyone in the first place. Did an aunt or your mother ignore you when you were small? You have such anger towards a woman you don't even know. I feel sympathy for you, that you have to seek out a total stranger so that you can unleash such hatred. This is why so many dislike and abhore such people. I bet outside the internet your a very meek persona with severe anger that turns to rage when you meet someone of a different outlook then you have on religion. Your dogma is not being attacked. You need to grow up and leave your imaginary friend behind, and look at the amazing world around you. You have only one life to live make the most of it. There is no God, heaven, or hell. Life is amazing with out any gods. Live your life on the basis of treat others how you want to be treated. Be loving, kind, compassionate, and passionate. I don't rightly care what you believe as long as it's not shoved down my throat. Be aware that your imaginary friend is going to get you in a lot of trouble some day if you keep acting out on others like this though.
Actually no I don't. Your "question" was not really a question at all, more of a statement of your ignorance and unwillingness to hear, let alone really read what anyone else has to say. Unless of course they agree with you. You are biased from the very start of your statement, thus you are still angry with me, because I gave you an answer you just don't like it. It is simple I'm an atheist, thus I don't believe in any gods including the abrahamic God of the Torah. It's nice that you"think" you have seen your God, but so many others feel the same. Just because many believe something to be true does not make it so.
+ww3comingsoon she didn't said everyone had to believe that it wasn't rational. She was just saying she thought it was not rational to her. It annoys me that some people will not let us have our own ideas.
- Lee Strobel was an atheist and became pastor. - Sigrid Undset (novelist) was atheist and became a christian. - Francis S. Collins (Physiscian-Geneticist - Head of NIH) was atheist - now christian - Alister McGrath was Biologist atheist, Now (christian) Andreas Idreos Professor in Science and Religion in the Faculty of Theology and Religion at Oxford University.
Your point? People change their minds. Any anecdote about someone being a theist and moving towards atheism or an atheist moving in the opposite direction, or someone converting from any one religion to another, isn't really an argument. It doesn't support any one side. It's what it sounds like: an anecdote.
***** Well....so long as you don't try and stick your religion into science education or government or oppressing others then yes....don't just don't care what you do on a sunday morning
I did not see that perspective. I didn’t think about it. If the pastor realized that this is the only way a person can provide was based on the belief. It must be stressful. Great video!
In one denomination this is not a big problem. Some Unitarian Universalists believe in God, some don't, and that includes the clergy. That's where I go to church. But I'm also thinking now of a Jesuit priest who taught at the university I attended long ago and who lost his faith. And he kept his employment difficulties minimal! By the time he had left the Jesuit order and the priesthood, he had also become an atheist. But he had a tenured position and demanded that the university honor that and keep him employed. It worked. He married, had kids, and taught in that Catholic school until he either retired or died. I took a required theology course from him while he was still wearing a cassock, and he was a good teacher. Obviously, he had an open mind.
I am an atheist and I truly believe in no god, I still like some parts of religion which teaches morals and ethics, Is it wrong??(jain) I have one more question I used phrases like Ohh lord, Oh my god and after saying those I am like, Ya I don't believe in them
+The Scientific Atheist No, of course it's not wrong to believe in those ethics. It doesn't matter where you have them from, as long as you believe in them, believe in them. What is the question?
Shlok Sangoi what morals and ethics are you talking about? becuase there are no religious morality teachings that cannot just as easily be non religious. none.
I actually cast Richard Dawkins into the role of an Anglican bishop. Not much difference. creavsevolu.blogspot.fr/2012/12/two-bishop-richards-in-dialogue.html
You know, once upon a time, an Anglican who went Catholic faced same type of horrors. Read up on life of John Henry Newman in Apologia pro Vita Sua (only title is in Latin, the book is in English).
I am an Agnostic Catholic debating on joining the clergy. It makes no difference to me whether or not someone believes or doesn't believe, but uses the Bible for its guidance.
I'm Swedish, can someone explain to me what a "four letter word" is? I know "love" is a four letter word. But he says "doubt is a four letter word" and I'm confused. (I'm not being sarcastic I truly wish to learn I know he can count etc)
Fuck is a four letter word. Shit is a four letter word. So these people are basically saying that you shouldn't doubt, because although it isn't a four letter word, to the religious whose faith is based on not having doubts, it might as well be a four letter word.
Oh for fucks sake... There is no philosophical agenda here. He has a Freudian slip. I DOUBT he cared to count the letters so long as his message was received. However he does say it while he is quoting a hypothetical Christian, whom, for the most part, can barely count anyways.
Does anyone remember Marjoe Gortner? He was a famous preacher who became an Atheist. Ministers who do not want to be preachers anymore have a very good set of skills. They can talk! They can persuade! They can sell! I have been watching videos by TJ Walker on RUclips and realize that there are a lot of people who would love to have those set of skills!
3:57 _"It's hard to see why anyone would accuse them of not being Christian when they clearly were"_ Well, there are on the Evangelical side some who say "if you really are a Christian, a saved person, you remain saved forever". Ergo, if someone "loses his salvation" he never had it to begin with. Someone reasoning honestly on this one would consider these guys seriously believed they were saved, but were deluded (which is what they believe themselves too, right). But this would of course leave them with the question: "if this guy thought so honestly he was saved and is now showing he was not, how can I be sure I was really saved", which is a very uncomfortable one, since being really saved to many of them involves being really sure of being really saved. I think that explains it.
(I'm an atheist and I have great points against religion and a god existing etc. etc.) ever since my agnosticism about a month ago I have been discussing no God vs there is a god in my youth bible study. I have done well enough and even made most of the students (about 15 of them) have doubts and some are agnostics. Me and my youth leader have exchanged emails back and fourth and he has told me about which things he struggles with in the faith. We are having an official discussion about this issue some time in a couple of weeks and I think I am going to do very well because I am good at debating and I understand evolution, and why it is silly to believe in a god. My youth leader is a very good man and has a family, and he leads confirmation classes at the biggest church in my city. Would it be a bad thing for me to 'convert' him to atheism? I don't wanna ruin what he believes deeply and teaches to students about God helping you in tough times and all that he bases his lessons off of.
WasteLandWarrior It's almost like how different dialects came to be. People are geographically separated, and different systems of verbal symbols arise independently into protolanguages. Then people migrates, and their ways of speaking change little bits after little bits (just look at how internet slangs arise), also independently. People living in the same communities strengthens each other's way of speaking and writing. Eventually these separated communities stabilize their changed way of speaking and writing into different languages. This is how some "different languages" actually look quite similar, such as French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian, cause they all have their root in Latin; Chinese and Japanese have similar modalities and Chinese people can understand Japanese kanji a lot of the times; other languages looks vastly different, but you can always find languages similar to theirs in the same geographical regions.
I don't understand why people have a problem with The Clergy Project. If you ran a religion, would you prefer a pastor that believed or a pastor that didn't believe.
Ahh I meant Unitarian Universalist. Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion characterized by a "free and responsible search for truth and meaning".Unitarian Universalists do not share a creed but are unified by their shared search for spiritual growth. As such, the Unitarian Universalist Church (UU) includes many agnostics, theists, and atheists among its membership.
I’m not a full blown atheist. I’m more of a deist because an indifferent God makes more sense to me than the Christian one. I think It’s why bad things happen and no one in the cosmos does anything about it! If God exists I really think he’s a hands off deity, but I will find out for sure when I die.
+Regicide Hemant Mehta is spreading lies. Don't listen to him. "Doubt" is a 5 letter word but he said it was four letters. Therefore, he is the devil. Trust in Jesus ur lord and savior.
"You'd think, if they're a good Christian church they'd support their pastor even if he's no longer a Christian." Why? A church is in the business of selling their brand of religion, and if a salesman can't sell he's useless to them. A pastor who no longer believes in God is like a cigarette salesman who no longer believes that smoking doesn't cause cancer and can no longer keep pretending .he still believes it doesn't.
about the DOUBT u r talking from the christian point of view, but from a catholic point of view, doubt is not a bad thing, because the bible requires you to believe even if you don't see, they call it the dark night, the deserts of the soul, so, many priests and nuns force themselves to believe in god to so achieve sainthood to the heroic point. Just saying.
I didn't know priests can change from Christian to athiest. Wierd. I am totally fine with the change. One is free to follow whatever religion they want, and they can even choose a nonreligous view like athiest. As long as they are not hurting anybody, they are fine. I think that a priest should get another job first. Then they can come out of the closest and declare themselves athiest. It is difficult to get a job without proper skills. So I am glad there is help out there for former priests.
The problem of god is that it is coloured by our vision or ideas about the Judeo/christian god (that old nomadic goatherd),surely in this age to the spiritual every new discovery ,all new knowledge should suggest that at the very least that the image of god is evolving.
Make a video on Hinduism as well, so as to prove you that you are doing these on all religions, not only christianity... Being from India I have my doubts on you as your religious roots are different than that of you are making videos on.. And it is well known fact that Hindu fanatics go to any extent to make their religion great...
If a priest turns out to be an atheists then it shows that God in fact loves atheist, because it's God who calls people to become priests and spread His words. The same about pedophile priests, they're all called by God, so He must love them.
in the US you give them money? why? coz when they had money they didn't spend it to learn languages and computers? what skill? they have none. and it's their personal problem.
oooooooooooooooooooo, ... OH yes their skills are pretty much transferable. they know perfectly well how to convince people. so they are very good marketers. they would be the first people that would know how to convince people to buy his stuff, ...
He is real. I've seen Allah with my own two eyes . But right after I seen him he blew up the god damn Airport then flew away on a winged horse so I didn't get a chance to chat with him.
THE EXPANDING UNIVERSE In 1925, an American astronomer by the name of Edwin Hubble, provided observational evidence that all galaxies are receding from one another, which implies that the universe is expanding. The expansion of the universe is now an established scientific fact. This is what Al-Qur’aan says regarding the nature of the universe: “And it is We Who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We Who are steadily expanding it. [Al-Qur’aan 51:47] The Arabic word mûsi‘ûn is correctly translated as ‘expanding it’, and it refers to the creation of the expanding vastness of the universe. Stephen Hawking, in his book, ‘A Brief History of Time’, says, “The discovery that the universe is expanding was one of the great intellectual revolutions of the 20th century.” The Qur’aan mentioned the expansion of the universe, before man even learnt to build a telescope! Some may say that the presence of astronomical facts in the Qur’aan is not surprising since the Arabs were advanced in the field of astronomy. They are correct in acknowledging the advancement of the Arabs in the field of astronomy. However they fail to realize that the Qur’aan was revealed centuries before the Arabs excelled in astronomy. Moreover many of the scientific facts mentioned above regarding astronomy, such as the origin of the universe with a Big Bang, were not known to the Arabs even at the peak of their scientific advancement. The scientific facts mentioned in the Qur’aan are therefore not due to the Arabs’ advancement in astronomy. Indeed, the reverse is true. The Arabs advanced in astronomy, because astronomy occupies a place in the Qur’aan. CREATION OF THE UNIVERSE: ‘THE BIG BANG’ The creation of the universe is explained by astrophysicists in a widely accepted phenomenon, popularly known as the ‘Big Bang’. It is supported by observational and experimental data gathered by astronomers and astrophysicists for decades. According to the ‘Big Bang’, the whole universe was initially one big mass (Primary Nebula). Then there was a ‘Big Bang’ (Secondary Separation) which resulted in the formation of Galaxies. These then divided to form stars, planets, the sun, the moon, etc. The origin of the universe was unique and the probability of it occurring by ‘chance’ is zero. The Qur’aan contains the following verse, regarding the origin of the universe: “Do not the Unbelievers see That the heavens and the earth Were joined together (as one Unit of Creation), before We clove them asunder?” [Al-Qur’aan 21:30] The striking congruence between the Qur’aanic verse and the ‘Big Bang’ is inescapable! How could a book, which first appeared in the deserts of Arabia 1400 years ago, contain this profound scientific truth?
Sorta funny how the scriptures all make sense after the discoveries are made. They always make sense in retrospect, but they never help discover new things. Funny.
Not quite. He and a committee published comparisons of modern biology with the Qur'an. That's not quite the same thing as writing a book of embryology based on the Qur'an. He didn't read the Qur'an and say, "wow, this is some revolutionary stuff here." Show me a novel discovery pulled from a holy book -before- independent research discovered it. Not post hoc reasoning why the holy book was right all along.
hksin11186 how did nostradamus (or however its spelled) make accurate predictions...how did isaac newton have such a profound and advanced understanding of the world around him and create calculus before the age of 26...how did the egyptians make things that we today can only recreate with laser technology...you present a curious question no doubt...but i named 3 of thousands of examples that are just as spectacular and in no way shape or form does that point to the existence of a deity...there is way to many questions about how people of the past did what they did...some just happen to be in religious text
you can´t call them priest cause they don´t worshiping nor preach a god or a deity of any sorts. and atheism is simply the denial of claims without proof to them, just like you surely deny that Narnia exists, that doesn't make you a cultist.
taledarkside organisations can be about all sorts of things, and there probably would be if a serious majority of the adult population actually believed in Santa.
taledarkside your statement is contradictory and confusing, so people are so paranoid of death that they accept that they die and be realistic?, or are you responding to Santa organisation?
taledarkside first of atheism isn´t an organisation like religions(cults) are, there might exist atheist organisations but atheism isn´t an organisation, it´s contradictory that you talk of education yet you believe in a 2000 year old middle eastern sky daddy.
Lots of atheists becoming Christians. It’s great. Not so many pastors “becoming atheists”. This little follower of demons and evil spirits is practicing deceiving others. Good luck Sparky. God is great!

I've had plenty of time to understand who I am - I left 37 years ago.....
WHY ARE YOU NOT A WORLDWIDE SPEAKER HERMANT MEHTA
Really, really interesting to hear about this topic and about the Clergy Project. Didn't know that existed. Thanks for an awesome video!
So how is that language let alone the slander being Christ like? Good example of Christianity.
***** Wow. Are you an anti-Christian, trying to discredit the religion by trolling?
+ww3comingsoon she didn't said everyone had to believe that it wasn't rational. She was just saying she thought it was not rational to her. It annoys me that some people will not let us have our own ideas.
- Lee Strobel was an atheist and became pastor.
- Sigrid Undset (novelist) was atheist and became a christian.
- Francis S. Collins (Physiscian-Geneticist - Head of NIH) was atheist - now christian
- Alister McGrath was Biologist atheist, Now (christian) Andreas Idreos Professor in Science and Religion in the Faculty of Theology and Religion at Oxford University.
Your point?
People change their minds. Any anecdote about someone being a theist and moving towards atheism or an atheist moving in the opposite direction, or someone converting from any one religion to another, isn't really an argument. It doesn't support any one side. It's what it sounds like: an anecdote.
It's actually my point.
nice-new... Okay. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. But it would probably be simpler to just say that.
***** Well....so long as you don't try and stick your religion into science education or government or oppressing others then yes....don't just don't care what you do on a sunday morning
+nice-new people change
It would be absolutely great if you get an interview with one of them
I did not see that perspective. I didn’t think about it. If the pastor realized that this is the only way a person can provide was based on the belief. It must be stressful. Great video!
Don't be silly, all priests & pastors are atheist. They HAVE to read the bible. End of story.
Just some are more honest about it.
Marilyn Newman my mother read the full Bible and is still Christian.
@@haumea22 She is blinded by faith.
How do I deal with destination and bullying in school because I'm an atheist
Great video, thank you for the voice.
I am an atheist and I truly believe in no god, I still like some parts of religion which teaches morals and ethics, Is it wrong??(jain)
I have one more question I used phrases like Ohh lord, Oh my god and after saying those I am like, Ya I don't believe in them
+The Scientific Atheist No, of course it's not wrong to believe in those ethics. It doesn't matter where you have them from, as long as you believe in them, believe in them.
What is the question?
Shlok Sangoi what morals and ethics are you talking about? becuase there are no religious morality teachings that cannot just as easily be non religious. none.
I know a pastor of a church who was a atheist and a doctor and a scientist who became a pastor and a Christian.
And?... Yes, it goes both ways.
"Doubt" is NOT a four-letter word!
+TheSimonBOULDER Are you really that dumb?
+Drimirin +Drimirin I don't see how you are dumb if you don't know something about
a thing you never were part of or really had contact with...
They become Anglican Bishops.
+Mikephx hahahahahahaha! : )
So true. We have many Anglican bishops here in Canada.
Okay okay we get it doubt is not a 4 letter word. Suck it up he just said a minor error.
chill the guy made an little mistake counting. but. this guy. he needs to speak to the world. how is he not famous yet
4:49 uhhh am i the only one who realised doubt isnt a 4 letter word
What will happend a minister of Iglesia ni Cristo/ INC of Felix Manalo became an atheist???
I'm Swedish, can someone explain to me what a "four letter word" is? I know "love" is a four letter word. But he says "doubt is a four letter word" and I'm confused.
(I'm not being sarcastic I truly wish to learn I know he can count etc)
Fuck is a four letter word.
Shit is a four letter word.
So these people are basically saying that you shouldn't doubt, because although it isn't a four letter word, to the religious whose faith is based on not having doubts, it might as well be a four letter word.
If you refer to something as being a 4 letter word you are implying it's a swear word....the actual number of letters is not relevant.
Basically what the other 2 said. It's an insinuation that the word is "dirty" or profane in nature.
Oh for fucks sake... There is no philosophical agenda here. He has a Freudian slip. I DOUBT he cared to count the letters so long as his message was received. However he does say it while he is quoting a hypothetical Christian, whom, for the most part, can barely count anyways.
xoSteveOox the OP's comment was a cultural one, not philosophical.
+Sophia Goodman I don't think he became atheist
I have a feeling my pastors in high school were secretly Atheist. :-P
Funny thing our last priest was the opposite he was an atheist then became a Greek Orthodox Priest.
Interesting. I didn’t think this was a thing. I’m curious, if they no longer believe in god, couldn’t they just quit?
3:57 _"It's hard to see why anyone would accuse them of not being Christian when they clearly were"_
Well, there are on the Evangelical side some who say "if you really are a Christian, a saved person, you remain saved forever".
As an atheist know how were the languages around the world broken up so differently from others. Can some one explain that to me?
Thanks
WasteLandWarrior
You're welcome!
I don't understand why people have a problem with The Clergy Project. If you ran a religion, would you prefer a pastor that believed or a pastor that didn't believe.
Nodentity I thought it was spelled pasture
I'm an atheist pastor you come to my church of atheism to preach whenever you want
I thought atheist priest were called Unitarians...
Could atheist ever change a Pope’s belief?
Krickistina plays*, a "four-letter word" is a term to say swear or curse words
They start an Atheist Church.
I’m not a full blown atheist. I’m more of a deist because an indifferent God makes more sense to me than the Christian one. I think It’s why bad things happen and no one in the cosmos does anything about it! If God exists I really think he’s a hands off deity, but I will find out for sure when I die.
Yes, but just because they don't believe in god doesn't mean that they have no ethics either.
Christians would TOTALLY say that DOUBT is a 4-letter word lol
***** Illuminati Confirmed
The word Clergy makes me crave juice.
I think you forgot to put doubt and brains together
Doubt is a "four" letter word?
lol
The English language is weird. What the hell is a "B" doing in the word, "Doubt."
He's the devil. Doubt is a five letter word!!!!!!!!!!!
+Alan J So is faith... XD
Four is a four letter word too...
Lol, "Doubt is a four letter word"
Jean Meslier. Google him, an absolute mad lad.
if you are able to sell a invisible product imagin what you could do with a real product
about the DOUBT u r talking from the christian point of view, but from a catholic point of view, doubt is not a bad thing, because the bible requires you to believe even if you don't see, they call it the dark night, the deserts of the soul, so, many priests and nuns force themselves to believe in god to so achieve sainthood to the heroic point.
So I am glad there is help out there for former priests.
anytime you say speak in tongues you should throw up finger air quotes lol
I just pictured this in my head and laughed for about 5 minutes straight XD!!!
The problem of god is that it is coloured by our vision or ideas about the Judeo/christian god (that old nomadic goatherd),surely in this age to the spiritual every new discovery ,all new knowledge should suggest that at the very least that the image of god is evolving.
You should debate this pastor who was an atheist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
+Troy Hill There are a LOT of them. What should he debate him on?
Make a video on Hinduism as well, so as to prove you that you are doing these on all religions, not only christianity...
Being from India I have my doubts on you as your religious roots are different than that of you are making videos on..
And it is well known fact that Hindu fanatics go to any extent to make their religion great...
You are my voice! Maybe my soul mate! !!. Tell me how to deal with a Catholic husband/ in laws !
Lovable Nest say some hail Mary's then break out into a fake seizure. Then jump up and be like come on Jesus your crucifieing me here
Can you explain the priest stereotype about them molesting children, and if that's actually true?
Why should cherry get money for going honest? They have been fleecing people for years and now see their crime.
eight is a 5 letter word...
If a priest turns out to be an atheists then it shows that God in fact loves atheist, because it's God who calls people to become priests and spread His words. The same about pedophile priests, they're all called by God, so He must love them.
+DexXx84 not if they rebel
doubt is 5 letters
The only spiritual stance is that of doubt.
I think that priests and pastors are professionals. Even if inside them its clear that they don't believe in god or in anything!!!
in the US you give them money? why? coz when they had money they didn't spend it to learn languages and computers? what skill? they have none. and it's their personal problem.
oooooooooooooooooooo, ...
OH yes their skills are pretty much transferable.
they know perfectly well how to convince people.
so they are very good marketers.
they would be the first people that would know how to convince people to buy his stuff, ...
Hammy should visit mount Athos he would have a stroke LOL
Doubt. 5 letters.
He is real. I've seen Allah with my own two eyes . But right after I seen him he blew up the god damn Airport then flew away on a winged horse so I didn't get a chance to chat with him.
too bad yahweh wasnt there with his guns to save the airport
Well done.
@itsdark- I can't respond directly to you (freaking mobile youtube) but that was creaking awesome.

THE EXPANDING UNIVERSE
In 1925, an American astronomer by the name of Edwin Hubble, provided observational evidence that all galaxies are receding from one another, which implies that the universe is expanding. The expansion of the universe is now an established scientific fact. This is what Al-Qur’aan says regarding the nature of the universe:
“And it is We Who have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We Who are steadily expanding it. [Al-Qur’aan 51:47]
The Arabic word mûsi‘ûn is correctly translated as ‘expanding it’, and it refers to the creation of the expanding vastness of the universe.
CREATION OF THE UNIVERSE: ‘THE BIG BANG’
The creation of the universe is explained by astrophysicists in a widely accepted phenomenon, popularly known as the ‘Big Bang’. The Qur’aan contains the following verse, regarding the origin of the universe:
“Do not the Unbelievers see That the heavens and the earth Were joined together (as one Unit of Creation), before We clove them asunder?” [Al-Qur’aan 21:30]
The striking congruence between the Qur’aanic verse and the ‘Big Bang’ is inescapable! How could a book, which first appeared in the deserts of Arabia 1400 years ago, contain this profound scientific truth?
Sorta funny how the scriptures all make sense after the discoveries are made. They always make sense in retrospect, but they never help discover new things.
Funny.
Do you know, that Professor Keith Moore, Wrote his embriology book learning from quran
Not quite. He and a committee published comparisons of modern biology with the Qur'an. That's not quite the same thing as writing a book of embryology based on the Qur'an.
He didn't read the Qur'an and say, "wow, this is some revolutionary stuff here."
Show me a novel discovery pulled from a holy book -before- independent research discovered it. Not post hoc reasoning why the holy book was right all along.

how did nostradamus (or however its spelled) make accurate predictions...how did isaac newton have such a profound and advanced understanding of the world around him and create calculus before the age of 26...how did the egyptians make things that we today can only recreate with laser technology...you present a curious question no doubt...but i named 3 of thousands of examples that are just as spectacular and in no way shape or form does that point to the existence of a deity...there is way to many questions about how people of the past did what they did...some just happen to be in religious text
+Blue Angel there is no science in quran

You are the best narrator ,i like your sexy voice. Lol
They are human and it ok
Doubt is a four letter word omg ahahahah
atheists priests
RIchard Dawkins, Matt Dillahunty. Preachers for the atheist cultists.
you can´t call them priest cause they don´t worshiping nor preach a god or a deity of any sorts. and atheism is simply the denial of claims without proof to them, just like you surely deny that Narnia exists, that doesn't make you a cultist.
yeah....because saying learn and think for yourself is exactly what cults do......
taledarkside organisations can be about all sorts of things, and there probably would be if a serious majority of the adult population actually believed in Santa.
taledarkside your statement is contradictory and confusing, so people are so paranoid of death that they accept that they die and be realistic?, or are you responding to Santa organisation?
taledarkside first of atheism isn´t an organisation like religions(cults) are, there might exist atheist organisations but atheism isn´t an organisation, it´s contradictory that you talk of education yet you believe in a 2000 year old middle eastern sky daddy.
Lots of atheists becoming Christians. It’s great.
Not so many pastors “becoming atheists”.
This little follower of demons and evil spirits is practicing deceiving others.
Good luck Sparky. God is great!
