I want to add you guys or machines you kayaked all over Fort Desoto I barely go a half a mile where I live at and I catch huge fish but I've never gone any distance in my kayak I do love to kayak but I've never gotten any distance but I do kayak very frequently usually at sundown and stay into the evening
Thank you for this video! Because of it we took the 3 hour ride up early Labor Day morning. Got to parking lot 3 around 8:30. Great hike, awesome waters, the kids took a dip. Ok the bad.... Really????? People are animals. A lot of trash strewn about, there was a campfire burning in the middle of parking lot #2. I'm not sure of the rules but that sure seemed incorrect lol. All in all a great day. I need to do that again in the fall with our annual drive up whiteface. Thanks again!
bummer about people leaving trash and burning. I've notice it more often during Covid... not sure if it is people new to camping/hiking and don't know about the "carry out" policy or the old boyscout saying "leave it better than you found it"
@@SerendipitySue Thanks anyway for the inspiration! Next time will bring a bag to pickup litter. What a beautiful area of new york. Almost makes me want to retire in the area between saratoga, and LG.
