That’s my home 👍🏻 did you guys make it to battleground park adjacent to the fort? There’s ruins of an old field hospital, and smaller fort about 100 yards into the trees. Cool spot.
Hi, Thanks for watching! As a kid, my dad took me all over there, but I haven't really been through there in many years. That's definitely worth going back to hunt around for!
Leg... Shepherd...?? I would be curious to see if there are any records of any soldiers with that name and a leg wound. Ya never know. Beautiful location. I am always interested in historical sites and Lake George looks beautiful.
Hey that's a great point there! That little phone app was getting uncanny until those words, so maybe! Thank you for watching and enjoying one of our nerdier creations!
Preservation of history with reports of paranormal activity, definitely feel the sense of times past with recreation and artifacts back in time. Very cool experience! 😊🌲
I live about 15 min from lake george so im down at lake george alot and ive been at the fort for school trips and stuff its so cool to see something from my hometown be so interesting to people! You guys did a great job on this video and exsplained the history very well
1. Props to Ryan on the Baja hoodie/poncho 2. Love me some Lake George!! 3. My husband and I stayed across the street from Fort WH a couple years ago for a music festival. We both had paranormal experiences at the Windsor Motel. 4. Bolton Landing - Ben & Jerry's FTW
Oooh Windsor Motel you say? I need to Google up that one now, nice! This town is covered in history and motels like no other, I love it! Thank you a ton for watching!!!💜
Love upstate uploads like this thank you. Hope you guys spend some time in other adirondacks or Albany area stories. Lots in Schenectady too saratoga also. Like battle friend also up in stillwater Mechanicville
That is a totally awesome place to visit:)!! So much history:)!! I so LOVED seeing the original fireplace from 1755, original piece from an Indian Canoe, the Powder Magazine Room, and those as Ryan called them, "bad ass" Cannons 1696:)!!! It was really cool to see all those ammunition in the Powder Room as well:)!! I also LOVED the miniature soldiers as well:)!! The ghost stories sound like they are probably real from the way you explained it:)!! I was wondering, did either of you get an ghosts on your devices or did you experience any ghosts? And that story about the Carpenter would give someone "nausea" or they could see a headless figure. And I also really enjoyed the extras at the end of this video, like the large fish you guys caught, the cool sweater that Ryan bought, and all the delicious food you both enjoyed:)!! Thank you for sharing all this really wonderful history and all the ghost stories:)!! And Lake George looks like a beautiful place to visit as well:)!!
We sure wish we could have gotten closer to that fireplace, lol! Ryan's a fan of dioramas and ALWAYS films them for me, thankfully. Sometimes I walk right by! 😳 We don't think our quick and rainy trip yielded anything strange for us, the "drink" on the iOvilus was a bit strange where it popped up though (the drinking prop people!). but we'd love to come back for a night tour and discuss a private group ghost tour which *might* be able to include some longer stops to investigate areas as well. They definitely embrace their weirdness there, while being a fully functioning historically accurate museum, it's so rare to have the opportunities to explore both in one place with this much history! We had to include a little of the enjoyment of one of our first trips out back into the world, 😊 we're glad you enjoyed!! Thank you!! ❤️
Wow!! This is such a fantastic tour of this historic location! Those artifacts were amazing...just imagine all of the history surrounding each object. The cannons were mesmerizing😍😍 Lake George is so beautiful and even through the misty rain, you captured so much of what this area has to offer. Ben and Jerry's....YUM! It felt like we were right there with ya☺️☺️. We will have to check this place (and the Mystery Spot🙃) Excellent video, as always!! P.s. woah... Nice Fish!!!
Thank you so much! We love this place and keep going back, but finally had a rainy day of it mostly to ourselves to wander with our cameras out. Me and my need to try and investigate even with yelling kids in the background... 🤦♀️ 😂 I have to try! You guys would love this town, it's full of food, boating, an entire freakin fort, (and an awesome haunted house attraction)! *Ryan's extremely proud of that catch ;)* Thank you both!! 💕
Well consider us a little jealous!! It's SUCH a fantastic place for everyone to experience, in the historic capacity first and foremost, but the potential haunts are intriguing too! Thank you for watching!
Absolutely loved the history of that fort! How fun would it be to investigate a place like that?? You guys do such an amazing job making such kick ass videos. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful trip!! 💜👻💜
Thank you! 😊 I've heard their nighttime group ghost tours can almost be an investigation, and hey, maybe we can swing a deal with 'em one day! I've always enjoyed this place, thank you a ton for watching! 💜 🤘 💜

Oh that's awesome!! It's definitely a place with so many accounts of strange happenings.

Did you go on the ghost tours?
We haven't, sadly! But being so close it's something we've got to try to do this summer. Thank you for watching!
My girlfriend & I were there last night getting the tour
Right on, thanks for watching!
Awww! I live here.
@@Zenlife1132 Lucky! We love it!
The Powder Magazine area (is that what is was called?) instantly gave me a weird feeling
This fort's got a vibe, and we were alone besides a screaming child (also terrifying). Thank you for watching!
@@FullDarkParanormal screaming children are 100000x scarier than anything supernatural.

My paranormal team is doing a overnight at the fort on the 10th of next month. You guys interested?
As cool at that would be our schedules are packed for fall. Thanks for checking out our video though!
His Majesty King George the 2nd had been on the Throne for 31 years.
Cool! There's even ghost stories that connect the fort to the UK, it's fascinating!
Masks totally destroy my beard game.
But I wanna stand there and hear my echo...😢😆
I (Amy) personally feel as though you're overdue for some investigations in the east!
@@FullDarkParanormal hahaha I KNOW!! Truly, I need to plan something!
