I am a teacher and I teach knitting and crochet online to kids ages 6 to 18 for extra income. I teach mostly1v1 classes. After my students learn the basics crochet they usually want to make amigurumi. I appreciate all the amazing free patterns and tutorials available. The kids get two learn how to read a pattern I then teach them how to create a cute little card to attach to the that credits the pattern designer abd links to their socials or website.II can't even imagine trying to do An Affair of the Headt. It has been years since I attended and no thank you. I hope you do amazing.
Ahh, that's exciting! I went to apply.... and saw the price for the booths. I'm not to that level yet, haha, but that's exciting for you! Good luck, and if I do make it up there (I'm in southern OK), I'll pop by to see your booth 🥰
@@maverickschick14 that would be awesome!! Yesss the price is a LOT lol it took me about 3 years to finally be at this level and I still feel like I might fall a little bit short😅
I love how you DIY your eyes. The idea of selling them to other crocheters to help them out is such a good idea. When I use those eyes, I also buy the paper/ fabric backing that is already colored. You can maybe try that next time instead of painting them!
@@Mychainoflove thank you! A lot of the tips I’ve read is to not use those paper backings because they aren’t safe to be washed in the washer in case the plushie needs washed (presumably because it’s paper and will soak up the water). So I think that’s why people try to paint them instead ☺️
I love the pig! Sooo cute. It’s nice to see someone who’s experienced at something admit that they still make mistakes too. 😊 the way you make the glitter eyes is really neat. Thanks for sharing. ☺️
I have six of the 2'x6' wire grid walls. My last market was the last time I'm using them because they are so heavy and length wise, difficult in our car.
What about trying chain loops for the hair on the unicorn? Sl st into where you want the mane to start, chain out like 10, sl st back to body, repeat until the mane is how you like it. Then you could do shorter chains the same way for the tail.
@@kristynpack5338 thank you for the suggestion! I actually tried something like that and it just ends up being too thick still. Maybe I can try with an acrylic yarn!☺️
Love the craft fair prep vlogs! I know you put heaps of effort in and the video is great quality but may I suggest that the music you select for the timelapse segments is a bit more gentle like the one where you packaged up the dino? I and probably a lot of people enjoy watching your vlogs to relax and it's jarring and grating to have the video loud enough to hear you talk then suddenly the techno starts. Again, love the vlogs ❤
