As you can see, this is not the usual Vlog that I do, normally I do unboxing of shoes, bags or travel videos. A little bit of history, a year ago, I have started loving Turquoise Jewelry and learning about the rich history behind it and Im still learning. So, I started collecting it about a year ago. Im one of the many who believe that Turquoise is considered as the stone of life, good fortune and a symbol of wealth by our Native Americans and other cultures of the world. Also, Turquoise is a symbol of protection, truth, and courage. According to Native Americans, the person who wears the stone is protected from harm, especially when fighting battles, while animals carry the rider safely and prevent falling off. The more I learned about it and it’s value the more I feel in love with Turquoise jewelry because it is not only beautiful, unique and rare but its hard to make a same piece that is exactly the same because the stone color can be vary and different after the artist or the maker cleaned it from the mining. Turquoise stones have many meanings that go above and beyond the beauty of the blue color they provide. It can be expensive because Though the popularity of turquoise wavered throughout the years, the mine eventually started to deplete. For example, Today, Cerillos in New Mexico no longer supplies turquoise. Other factors making natural turquoise rare are the cost of mining and altered imports. Etc.
