This video demonstrates how to write a nested IF statement or IF ELSE function. A nested IF statement is useful if you want to return one of three results (or more).
The video also looks at the nested IF alternative which is the IFS function. The IFS function does not require any nesting and is probably the way to go in more recent incarnations of Excel.
This video will be useful to you if you are asking the following questions:
How do you write an if statement with 3 conditions or more?
What is a nested IF function?
How do I use the IFS function in Excel?
What is the alternative to the IFS function in Excel?
How do I write an if else function?

Hi Chester. This video is fabulous, really helpful, thank you. But in the second half, when you are using the TODAY feature (yet anther feature I had never come across!) why are there empty brackets facing both ways after the word TODAY? They seem pointless but does an empty set of brackets have a special meaning within Excel?

    What if instead of
    Look up being a cell
Link you type in a word and what if the word is two letters. For example my look up value is Home Depot I’m not Putin look up value to be cell xx instead I want to type in Home Depot and it’s partial starts with Home Depot. Help
