Fabulous sound. I'm in the market now for either a Macam S (Diesel) or the SQ5 TDI. The Porsche is gorgeous but the sound of the Audi is soooooo good.

Dude, who cares ? It's the first diesel engine to sound a lot like a petrol. Look up videos of 3.0Diesel (Bmw,Audi,Mercedes) engines, and u'll know ;)

its true, there are 4 exhausts, the inner 2 of each side are not heading to the engine, instead only like 10 centimeters till it hits the speakers, but in my oppinion its ok!

Love the Lava Grey. Saw a 2014 Q7 Lava Grey w/Beige interior at Barrier Motors, Bellevue WA - fantastic package. Here my question, when will the SQ5 TDI model be available for US/Canadian market? In 2014? Not interested in the 354 hp TFSI model slated for US market.

no, only the scene's at the exhaust. The rest are recorded with a Panasonic SD99

Fantastic video. Lava Grey...(1R), would you know the interior colour and trim available for Lava grey, pearl effect? The online SQ5 and Q5 - 2014.pdf file shows Lava grey, pearl effect available for SQ5. Tried to order an SQ5 at Audi dealer in Bellevue WA, told me, Lava grey not available. Any suggestions?

Of there is a sound enhanced speaker I'm not sure y as the 3.0 v6 can sound naughty with a subtle exhaust change.

Yeah they have that oval thing piped into the front of the rear muffler. I did hear it was a speaker as it didn't seem to have another purpose.

ils mettent des enceintes dans l'échappement pour cacher le bruit du vrai v6 ,on peut en plus supprimer l'insigne TDI derrière et mettre sur les côtés V6 T pour faire croire que c'est une essence. Marrant non ?

Ouais mais un V6 diesel souffle beaucoup plus qu'un v6 essence, or le V6 TDI ne souffle pas tellement, il est plus concentré sur le bruit.

+Virtual Justicers C vrai qu'en revoyant la vidéo le son est assez timide pour un V6 bi-tdi.
+Adel iciouus , souffler niveau moteur, quand on voit passer un v6 diesel à coté de moi je reçois une bouffé de chaleur et je sens un souffle, c'est pas le radiateur en tout cas. Et puis le son du sq5 ressemble plus à un v8 qu'à un v6, le v6 est plus rageur

Immer dieser völlig übertriebene dusselige Konservenklang, Typ ,röhrender Hirsch' auf der Brunft. Der Motor selbst klingt eben scheisse. Dieseltrecker eben. Da ändert auch die Ausfuffendstückesammlung (noch vom Ausverkauf bei D&W?) nichts mehr.

Propriaitaire depuis 2,5 mois, SQ5 NEUF TOUTE OPTION 82K€ = 1,5 mois au garage à 900 km DE CHEZ MOI assistance AUDI deplorable impossible qu'il me remonte ma voiture a PARIS et il faut que je leur rende le vehicule de prêt à Cannes ( Q5 entre de gamme, aucune option). Un bordel monstre, non respect du client, le SQ5 encore tres fragile, pas au poin, 2 turbo sur du diesel ? ok dans une ecurie de course avec les ingenieurs mais pas pour le ppeuple moyen et consideré comme tres tres moyen. Chez AUDI , meme avec un vehicule neuf, 1 mois 2000 km, la garantie et le service client, ne sont pas proportionelles à l'investissement

Jort needs to check his facts! It's not like they put a big subwoofer under the car! It has a sound generator in the exhaust system! This is the second Audi I've had with it and I love it, would prefer it to be a bit louder, but hey I would rather be driving a V10 R8 but a Tdi this fast and economical will have to do.
