  • [Falling in love with Yosemite in spring] Drive east from San Francisco for more than 4 hours into the mountains. Yosemite National Park is right between the valleys and is one of the most beautiful national parks.
Make a reservation in advance on weekends and holidays, otherwise you can only go in after 4 p.m. Even after four o'clock, there was still a lot of traffic pouring in. The pine trees in the park are very old. We are all small in front of them. The forest trails are the most beautiful enjoyment.
There are many waterfalls in the valley, filled with melted ice water. They are most active in the spring season. Before the sun set today, under the Bridalveil Falls, a rainbow crossed the valley and poured down like the fallen flowers. I was instantly soaked and experienced the cold feeling of spring. I was also very happy to meet such a moment and have a wonderful encounter under the Bridalveil Falls. . .
The uphill trail to the east is the most challenging part of Yosemite and is the only way to get to Half Dome. I originally wanted to have dinner at Curry Village and then wait for the sunset. Seeing many tourists going up and down the trail, I couldn't resist the temptation and walked 2 miles to the starting point of the Mist Trail in the mountains. After another six miles or so, you can reached the foot of Half Dome, we stopped at the Mist Trail. When we returned to Curry Village for dinner, we met two young people who had just come down from Half Dome, and their words showed a proud tone.
In the Yosemite Valley of the park, there is a free service Shuttle Bus that circles 13 stations in the valley, each with good trails. There is no difference between the north side and the south side of the canyon. You can cross each other, it's just a one-way road. The trails go on for quite a while, so choose the length that suits your needs , and they are by far my favorite trails.
The visitor center of Yosemite Valley is near Shuttle Station No. 5. Come here to watch the video introducing it. You will learn that Sequoias are giant species that can live for more than 3,000 years. They originated in the Mesozoic era of geological time, which is the same era as the year of the dinosaurs. I think it should be earlier than dinosaurs and should have appeared in the Triassic period.
In spring of Yosemite, the scenery is everywhere, fresh and natural.
