Another excellent video Pan and the facilities looked like a ton of fun. The track looked so awesome and the donut pad was the cherry on top. As far as the chemicals go I hope to see a Pan video going over all of the different interior cleaners. Personally I use Pol-Star diluted 10:1 for interiors and it is strong stuff. I got a little confused on all the products they offer for maintenance cleaning on the interior.
I definitely appreciated all of the questions you asked and in my experience their chemicals have always over delivered. I’m glad you enjoyed your trip and thank you for the video.

Just bought the MP as seen in one of your videos and DAMN does this stuff work!!! Cleaned my Audi A4 and sprayed it and the engine looks brand new. Soon to try it on my S6 but all the plastic there is Ethos Graphene coated so it won't have as big on an impact.
Now to find something for the bezel at the base of the windshield that goes around the wiper posts.
This site always amazes me. I've ceramic coated 6 cars based on your teachings and many other tips and tricks. You are a Godsend Pan! With the exception that I used to be happy with an automatic car wash. Now I'm paying over $30 for a drying towel.

Absolutely love Koch Chemie….and FSE is one of my favorite detailing products, period.
I recently did the Porsche experience center day at silverstone in the UK (Porsche 992 turbo S cab). The nice thing with the UK one is that you can take the car on the public roads (don’t think they do that in Atlanta).
My takeaway from the day was that everyone talks about the turbo S’s 0-60 performance….what’s truly otherworldly are the brakes. The instructor had me do about twenty 0-60-0 runs back to back 😁 just incredible.

So I’m confused did he just use GS? For that leather seat? So it is safe on leather as well at a dilution of 1:20 like shown on video? Everyone keeps saying you shouldn’t use gs on leather as it will deteriorate over time is this true pan ?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  День назад +1

Ideally you'd use Pol Star to clean the leather or interior surfaces. But some guys will still use Green Star diluted 1:20 which is ok every now and then according to Koch Chemie, as you also have to neutralize the cleaner with a damp towel (damp with regular water) afterwards.
If you're not a professional detailer, just use Pol Star to clean leather, or a dedicated leather cleaner. They have a more pH balanced formula meant for that surface.
An APC is the jack of all trades, master of none.

So for sure you understand all the cool little details in the interview I do with the chemists. What I like to do is make the chemistry more accessible for my viewers, by explaining things in easier ways to understand, as not everyone has a degree in sciences. The more people learn and understand how and why we use the products, the better the results will be and the more fun they'll have detailing their cars. :)

10:33 great question. However, I'm a bit confused. He said normally for interior they have two products: Mzr and Pol Star, btw both of these products are available in my country. Then he said that for leather Pol star is for leather and Green Star for interior plastic trim. What about Mzr, can it be used on both faux leather and interior plastic/vinyl? He also made a point about not using acrylic or alkaline? (couldn't understand) on piano finish etc. I guess that means Mzr can't be used on piano trim etc either?

I am not familiar with Mzr as we don't have it here unfortunatley. Perhaps write to Koch Chemie and ask them directly.

@@PanTheOrganizer I was reading and it seems virtually all leather in cars is Coated with polyurethane and a gentle APC can just be used to clean it? In my case the car has faux-leather which is supposed to be more durable than leather anyway, so I guess any of the three products Mzr, Pol Star, and Green Star should be fine? Any guess as to which product would be better to remove dye-transfer from light colored faux-leather?
Would be nice if you can do a video on coated leather and faux leather and try different APCs on it to see whether the top coating is damaged by those. Also, makes me question whether all these leather conditioners/creams being sold are necessary if the leather pores are sealed with polyurethane, only thing they would do is make the seats sticky and attract dust/dirt.

Hi pan, Trace here from Texas with (one love mobile details)
Any recommendation for eliminate smoke odor in car?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад +1

Hi Trace. Eliminating smoke odors isn't as simple as it sounds, as it depends on how severe the issue is, how back the smoking habits were, and what surfaces it affected. There are levels to this, going with increasing strength:
      1) First order is to thoroughly clean the interior with an APC or interior cleaner. Make sure you get all the hard surfaces like plastics, trims, etc. Then look for odors in soft surfaces like upholstery, carpets and the headliner, and clean those surfaces. You can even use a steam cleaner to help, with a microfiber towel wrapped around the head of the steamer. At the end, use an odor neutralizer like this: amzn.to/3QUfIdX
      2) Once the interior is clean, see if you still smell smoke residue. If you still do, you can use an interior fogger like this: amzn.to/3QDZp5e
      3) If you still smell stuff, then the final way is to use an ozone generator.

Heheheh. I had to be on a waiting list for my Turbo S for three years just to get a spot to order one. Getting the Turbo S and any GT cars is the hardest thing to do. It's not as easy as just walking into your Porsche dealership and ordering one.
And to be honest, my Turbo S absolutely obliterates my friends' previous gen 911 GT3 RS as the Turbo S is much more powerful and quicker to accelerate. I'm a junkie for 0-60 mph and quarter mile runs haha. I clocked a 10.1s quarter @ 138 mph with my car, and we measured a 0-60 in 2.3s That is more power than I have ever experienced in my life. The only quicker car I have personally tested is the new Tesla Model S Plaid (over 1000hp). But I have friends with McLaren 765LT, Lambo Aventador SV, Ferrari F8 Tributo, etc and none match the brute acceleration of my Turbo S. They are blown away every time, and the cars I just mentioned are not slow by any stretch of the imagination haha.
But probably the thing I enjoy most of my Turbo S, is that it can be driven every single day, even to go to a store or just for a stroll, and if you take it to the track, it can still pull its own. The jack of all trades. So comfortable too. Heck even my girlfriend enjoys the ride. :)

Thank you for this video, very interesting to see. Koch Chemie is easy for me to purchase in Europe, where some other products that you've used (Adams) are harder to obtain.
Also this provides a bit more detail than just reading the small text on the websites to really understand the application proces or selecting the correct product.
I do have a question though: when are you upgrading your paint job to this 100k paint job? :)

Hello. I'm NEVER using alkaline products inside the car. Only neutrak pH. No APC, also.
PolStar is better than Green, is more safer for plastic and faux leather. I can't uderstand how I can put Leather Star on alcantara...whatever.
I'm think...leather with dedicated products, plastic also, etc. Each surface with dedicated products.
TopStar it's a good product but not for OEM look. Better for this is Koch Refresh Cockpit or Sonax Proffesional Plastic Care

@@orthodox1717 Yeah..a greasy product like LeatherStar on alcantara..This is not leather. Alcantara is composed of about 68% polyester and 32% polyurethane.

RefreshCockpitCare does basically the same thing as Top Star in terms of…..you guessed it: refreshing the plastics however you cannot get Top Star without having some sort of a business at least here in germany.

@@FluppKey Thank you. We are in this bussines about 11 years. Koch Chemie is a great company, and PolStar it's a must for a detailer. Greetings
