To give you some historical perspective Emma, the United States was a highly divided nation, particularly along racial lines. Especially in the southern region of the country, blacks and whites did not associate together. So in the late 60's and early 70's, all schools begin to integrate. The reason you say so many protest and fights is because no one really wanted to be together. We have come a long way as a country but we still have a long way to go
Haven't come a long way nearly as enough as you'd like to think.
The movie is very emotional and exciting, I saw it yesterday and the story left me with some tears, This movie is on the list of movies that I have been excited about and that are worth watching
This movie still remains in my top 3 all time favorite movies.
If there's one Denzel Washington movie that you absoulutely have to watch ,its amoive called "Glory," about the first American Black regiment of soldiers during the American Civil War, the cast is one for the ages, its a reallly good movie!

Jerry Lewis ( comedian) & Dean Martin ( singer ) are part of old Hollywood 50s & 60s were the big decades for them ( song n dance movies you name it they could do it all ) in fact you should look up a few of their movies so you can do a reaction )

I would recommend The Hurricane , he was nominated for an Oscar for that one as well and it’s one of my favorite films ever. Gutting wrenching movie
This one is so good. True event movies is usually amazing to watch!
Probably the best sports movie of all time. Certainly the most memorable. There is another movie that you can watch of Denzel Washington, its called the Great Debaters. He directed that movie as well. A brilliant, but underrated movie.
Any Given Sunday is also a good one
Have you tried Field Of Dreams? Whilst technically it isn't just about the sport, the game is always present and hovering over you.
I recommend Denzel Washington again in Equalizer 1&2.

Its funny how Louie, the chubby white guy, played by Ethan Suplee, one of his other famous roles is from a movie called American History X... where he plays a guy that is basically the opposite of Louie..

This movie was based on somewhat real life. The ending it was true. You got young Ryan gosling and young Hayden panettiere, young Ryan Hurst, and young wood Harris. I watched this movie in my P.E class first in 2001 . Inspirational

Other white boy had a small part in Saving Private Ryan!the asst coach has been in stellar movies! No way out, gone in 60 seconds, Armageddon, and many others! They mentioned the team, Marshall. So now watch, We Are Marshall!! Donald Faison in one of the funniest TV shows ever! Type in here, Scrubs tv show!
