The star in this show is Donna and her team that put these videos together. You make patterns that would be very difficult to understand, easier to attempt by sharing your many years of experience. Thank you so much for making videos. It's unbelievable how generous you are giving, your work to your audience. You are definitely the most generous people on RUclips that I have seen. ❤

“This is close enough for me.” “My sewing is never perfect.”These are the most encouraging words from Donna!! At first blush I would never attempt this project, but as usual, Donna breaks the whole process into more manageable pieces. It’s still a bit daunting but I love the finished quilt!

This quilt is stunning. The scrappy blocks remind me of sparkles you see in a diamond. I need to make a Lone Star for my cousin who lost her Lone Star quilt her Mom and Grandmother made for her when her house burned down this past December. To be honest, bias sides intimidate me. But will try a block from this pattern to get myself used to them and then get busy on her Little Dipper quilt. Thank you, Donna, so very much for showing how to iron them flat, as mine look just like yours when I get it to the ironing board. Now I understand what I was doing wrong trying to iron them. This pattern would be perfect for her. I love your tutorials.

You make patterns look so easy and you are such a great teacher, I will try a scrappy version. Maybe a throw size or baby quilt to try your pattern. I have boxes of strip scraps. For me that would be sew and groan. I need to constantly prick myself with many pins to have any hope of diamond points lining up. And I always starch for bias-cut blocks
I made a king size 60 degree diamond quilt a few years ago. Took forever!
I'm only now brave/crazy enough to try diamonds again.
