She and Max spent like a week together, half of which was spent with Max lying as to who he is. If you think theirs is a true love and worthy story to tell then that's fine. Other people have noticed Lucy and The Ghoul were written to parallel each other. And they are going to spend lots of time together in season 2. Anything can happen in a world like Fallout.
