"How do you survive an asexual relationship?" What a bizarre question! If one has to "survive" *any* kind of relationship, one has bigger problems than Google can deal with😂. But thanks, Lynn! Always useful to know where significant numbers of people's heads are at before one ventures onto the stage.😃

My partner and I are on ace spectrum, though he loves touch as a love language and I love acts of service. We're also Demisexual, so that helps too. Thoroughly enjoyed this! ❤

I recently come to terms with being ace, not 100% sure if I am aromatic yet but I am 90% sure, and I would have never known if I haven't come across your youtube, I am so thankful, to know that there are plenty of others like me, and that I ain't broken, once again thank you so much!

I think I blew my chance of being in a relationship with someone last year.
As an aroace person, it can be extremely difficult to fined or explain to someone what a qpr is.
So yes, communication is key, and I wish I could explain to that person what a qpr is, but I don't think they'd understand.
And sorry, Lynn, this isn't exactly what you were talking about.

I feel like the first question is confusing asexuality with aromanticism (or assuming all aces are also aro, which I've seen a depressing amount of times lol). I'd imagine most asexuals want to date unless they're aroace????

Love these videos, this is an amazing channel an i always feel a little less alone when i watch them. Also survive? Like you survive a war or an illness not a loving relationship that happens to lack sex, allos are super dramatic about sex sometimes, i so don't get it.

Thank you very much, dear @lynnsaga1397! Can I ask you for advice?
I recently reminded my asexual female best friend that I support her,
referring to a conversation from 6 years ago she'd forgotten. My
well-intentioned comment backfired severely - she found it extremely
offensive and expressed wishing I was dead. Given her tendency to hold long
grudges and her past trauma, should I wait a year before attempting to
apologize and reconnect? Or is there a better approach? How can I
effectively apologize for bringing up this sensitive topic?

Hey, so I'm trying to figure out whether I'm asexual, but now a few questions arise. How do I know that I love someone or want to be in a relationship with them and it's not just a deep friendship? Like, what's the difference between a good friendship with a person you have a deep connection and / or cuddle with and a person you do the same things with but in a romantic way?? I don't get it, am I aromatic as well? 😭😭

    • @IAmShadowfire
      @IAmShadowfire 5 месяцев назад +1

Idk if you've gotten an answer from anyone else, but it sounds like you're quoiromantic (aka wtfromantic), which is on the aromantic spectrum

For me there is no difference besides who i give more access to my life. A partner has the most access typically. More trust... But even that can be off the table depending on the rltshp agreement

Hi, I have maybe a stupid question but can we actually be assexual for a reason ? i mean, for exemple if you've been through a trauma linked to sexuality and that after even some years you've never been attracted this way even when there wasn't any fear? like literally never attracted this way? i feel like everyone is like "it's just a phase, it's because of your trauma, you'll be healed one day and you will be able to do it again don't worry", but it's like, not about fear nor anything, i just don't want to do it
