For what it's worth, I think med school sounds like a good idea, considering two things: His interest in anatomy (medical examiners for example are MDs but focus a lot on cutting in dead bodies, something your brother has no problem with) and his appreciation of a steady paycheck.
I love Sapolsky! I first read Behave and have been reading his older essays. He's got great sense of humor. Amazes me how he through semi-technical prose manages to provoke moral discussions. But let me stop yapping and read it!

I’m kind of like your brother, I majored in Biochemistry and thought I wanted to go to med school. I just graduated (like 2 days ago) and I want to go back and get a second bachelors in Electrical Engineering. I also double majored in CS for a while but ended up just minoring so thankfully I’d have a good an amount of transferable credits if I actually did go through with it.
