When I got my first car and I was dead broke and 16, my best friend's dad showed me how to change my brakes. We went to the parts store, bought the brakes, went to a local empty parking lot, and he just walked me through the whole thing. 30mins later, we were done and I was shocked that people pay so much to do brakes. Since then, 24+ years later at age 40, I've done almost everything you can do on a car (minus body work), and I truly believe that was the defining moment for me. It flicked a switch in my mind to a lightbulb that has been "on" since.
This man just save alot of people some money!! Dealership big mad right now after watching this video. They charging $1000k!!

My brake pads are low and also when I apply the brakes in speed my steering starts shaking so it means my front rotors are bad so I changed all

Are you sure you transfer the old housing shims to the new pads? The powerstop tech said you didn't need to transfer the old shims.
Was this for the manual or electric parking brake?
It’s for the manual parking brake
Can you please list tools
How much does it cost doing it ourselves vs auto body shops?
Self max 400 for everything. Shop told me 320 each💔
How do I find the torque specs for the caliper bolts?
It just have to on snug its pretty much for all torque spec are based off of
did you put it in service mode before changing it
No I did not my car is se non hybrid
How many miles were on the car when you replaced these?
I did it on 37,000 miles
My front rotors went bad so I did all of them
wifes has 46,0000 brakes need replaced all way around 2019 SE
What if your new rotors don’t have the rubber boot hole ?
It should have hole because this is the
Place to adjust the parking brake
Some time new rotors don’t have the rubber inserts but they should have that hole if not then I think it’s not a right part
The manual brake and electric brake takes a different rotor one bigger then the other and one doesn’t have a hole for the service plug
Where you buy the rotors &brakes?
I got my rotors from Amazon and brake pads from Toyota dealership
May I please get the link for these rotors
