I love you guys so much, and I am grateful I found your channel. It's very helpful and encouraging. I have just permanently moved to the US for almost two years, and I know my English is still not perfect. However, I am committed to improving myself every day, including my English skills.
Thank you for the video where you mentioned that hiring managers don't expect perfect English as long as candidates can clearly communicate. This encouragement means a lot to me and motivates me to keep pushing forward.
I am in the early stages of my career in UX design and have been applying for almost three months, sending out applications for nearly 150 jobs. Unfortunately, I haven't received even a screening call. Knowing about the insights from hiring managers is great, but I wonder how to stand out in the initial stages to secure the first call from recruiters. Thank you so much for creating valuable content like this.

Keep working on that portfolio! And if some company or hiring managers cares about your English skills, you probably didn't want to work there anyway! (Ko)
