China has huge tariffs on products built in the US. When Costco and Walmart import processed food products they average over 30%. Heavy equipment like caterpillar have huge tariffs. Technology companies like Facebook and others are completely banned..

China's core tariffs are quite low. These larger tariffs you're seeing have been imposed only in response to US tariff increases targeting China.

USA is just a place in a long line of nazis dating back to their prechritstian days. You can follow the paths of where they been cause they leave their cult signs everywhere. The game generating humans has a pool of characteristics it grabs from when it creates them. That's why there is about 8 visibly different groups. Talking to them to try an change them hasn't changed them since the days they took down Rome an changed their names to Christians. They have a pattern of just killing everything; leaving their buildings with symbols on them behind to make their territory; an then saying everyone else is doing it an making it illegal to talk of it. For instance christians worship the guy in the video here as the god people. Yet they are the same people just shedding their snakeskin. Satanists an atheists as well are a new snake that molted it's Christian skin. An nazis are them but claim they are against theirselves. An the kkk obviously uses the same symbols.
All you get from talking to most of them is the tactics that allowed them to conqure most the world an they worship as law in their religons. Passive agressive deception. It's like asking a crow to stop flying. The game designed crows with wings to fly. I wouldn't ask them for the answer but If you ask maybe the clouds, something may come along an show you why it's designed certain things this way. The clones can't provide 1 on 1 answers. But if you aren't one of them the physical world itself will change to show you just how fake earth is; which will signal your answers as to why certain things get designed certain ways. It's almost as if it's a game world with realistic graphics, a simple plot line, an nothing more

Where are our medications made? China controls it 100% like everything else. I guess prices on solar batteries are about to skyrocket just when they`re becoming affordable. Mr Snooze has already ruined my diet and has prevented me from completing my emergency solar and increased the cost of my medical care and utilities and forced me off two meds I need...on and on and on. I guess he wants to harm as many people as possible on his way to the grave.

Import taxes are not only to protect local manufacturers but also to TAX consumption. This is particularly true in economies that do not manufacture anything. It is a source of government revenue. They may have 1000% traffic on a Rolls Royce but zero on a bicycle.

The impact on Tesla is not the increased tariff on EVs, its also increased tariff on lithium ion batteries and battery parts. From Whitehouse press release: The tariff rate on lithium-ion EV batteries will increase from 7.5%% to 25% in 2024, while the tariff rate on lithium-ion non-EV batteries will increase from 7.5% to 25% in 2026. The tariff rate on battery parts will increase from 7.5% to 25% in 2024. The CATL cells Tesla is importing for the Model 3 RWD are about to get more expensive. I'm not sure if they are also importing cells for megapacks.

Long been expected that Legacy American OEMs will fail, sure they may be bailed out again unfortunately, but they'll be greatly diminished by 2030 say. It's OK, they earned it. Wasn't that long ago that rural America heavily depended on the likes of Sears, no on misses them now. Creative destruction has some pain but it's the only way to go.
In the 1970's GM alone had over half the US auto market, they were selling us crap and the Japanese came in forcing US OEMs to improve while slashing Big 3 market share, we all benefited from it.

This 1:1 is often not smart. Especially when you have different volumina in different items.
Let‘s say we have one country exportin lots of cars whilst the other exports lots of milk to each other.
In this case one country would be the looser if both agree to 30% on Cars and 0% on milk.
This is why those bilateral contracts are made like „Cars 30% vs. 10% Import / Export“ and therefor „Milk 10% vs. 30% Import / Export“.
In a second step it‘s getting more complex.
We might with (Country 1) plan to have one bilateral contract for „Item A“ which makes some export attractive for the other country. Therefor „Item B“ is one we can export to them with good conditions. But we are planning to have another contract.
With a second country (Country 2) we have „Item A“ for so good conditions that the import of it from Country 1 falls to zero.
In this case Country 1 has no benefit from the conditions for its export out of its contract but gives good conditions for our Item B.
Meanwhile we have good import Conditions of Item A from Country 2 and a good export perspective in Country 1 for item B.
If Item A is a battery and item B our cars with it inside then the export of item B will even raise as we strenghted our ability to make a good prices for the cars by importing the battery from a cheaper dealer.
This is why those contracts from time
To time need to change 😂 as every country is always trying to get the best deal for itself and new contracts affect volumina which have been the base for
      Older contracts.
And this is only market logic. We do not speak about unfair couhtry invests (like china maybe does) or the difference if a country is not running as a capitalistic
      System and has overproduction.

    • @relaxedtriathlon7095
      @relaxedtriathlon7095 12 дней назад

@@mnsawmill2904 Not sure if any first world land has agriculture with no subsidies. But sure…that can be unfair if other countries havent subsidies and then they should probably tax the import from America.
I personally don‘t know if China was not fair with its subsidies on cars & battery manufactoring or if the western world just has seen chinas plan & effort too late.
But no matter which way it is - regarding the climate reality + from which kind of countries Oil comes worldwide there will be a huge change to electric cars within 15 years.
And this means if we don‘t want the western primarily combustion-engine expericed industry get smashed we need to prtect them for a while until they get the ability to face chinas products itself.
If we don‘t just 50% of jobs in car industry fall apart in USA & Europe and will settle in China.
As I said for this result just don’t matter why china became wirld leading in this technology.
From another persoective I think china can be massively proud.
When I was yound they have been the „copy country“ and today they absolutely lead an global growing new industry. That‘s amazing even if it is dangerous gor ourself.

Turnaround is fair play. China had banned Tesla FSD and conveniently changed their mind just as Elon was planning to meet with India. China wants to beat India and they also want Tesla’s FSD technology. Tariffs will force Chinese EV manufacturers to built in the US or possibly Mexico but the US and Europe will not allow them to dump cheap EVs and hurt US and European EV manufacturers.
