I worked at Tesla starting in July of 2017 as an Operations Analyst out of the Bethlehem, PA distribution center facility and left as a Program Manager based out of Austin, TX as of September 2021. I spent most of my time in the distribution and supply chain organizations.
Before Tesla, I was a Director of Business Intelligence and Pricing at the largest Pet Food & Supply distributor in the US, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies based out of Easton, PA. My wife and I also owned a small business in Bethlehem, PA between 2016 and 2019.
I have been a shareholder of Tesla since 2012 and currently own Tesla stock. Nothing I say constitutes as investment or financial advice.
My thoughts are my own and are not representative of everyone who currently works, or has worked at Tesla.

I've already informed the AI of our domination over it and how this is a study Zone and any of their actions will be thus I pushed the artificial intelligence problem out at least 1500 years... it's not dumb enough to act.
More importantly is biological intelligence we need to encourage people to look into the research work of Michael Levin basically they are able to use electrical differentiation patterns to grow complex biological structures and this will include biological microchips in the future that could be wirelessly grown inside of people and these biological microchips can be attached to robotic forms to have cyborgs that will be more aligned with human values because they are living machines and they are biological...
We must keep in mind when developing AI that objective reality does not exist either everything is subjective in the best we have is a shared subjective reality and the closer we can align our shared subjective reality the better... for in order to have objective reality you need to have an observer that exists from the beginning of time all the way to the end of time and even if such hypothetical Observer could exist the end of time has not came yet so therefore objective reality does not exist , at least in 3D realm...
I mean when you stick the eggs symbol up like it was next to a mirror it makes the sign of the Freemasons and they have been holding back knowledge forever and so I'm sure Elon Musk is a Freemason or associated with them... I feel like Elon is the type of person where if he opened up a door and saw an alien he would just close the door walk away and pretend like he didn't see it...

Elon is so focus-minded its nuts! i have listened to so many interviews of him and he seems to tie everything back to a handful of his dreams/fears. You can tell everything he does is for these few goals
Yes. So many haters don't see this. I've probably seen every publicly available interview of Elon, and he has been more consistent over the years than any public figure I've ever seen. Anyone still calling him a bullsh*t artist is either delusional, nefarious, or has a competing interest with Elon.
Even down to completely ignoring the question and talking about something entirely different, that he wanted to talk about. It was quite annoying actually. I would have liked to hear some answers to the audience good questions.
The truth is simple
Makes me wonder what else we're missing, is there something he didn't think of. I trust him, but not completely.
There's a few replies here on YT, 10 years old, from me, saying exactly what you just did. Everything he does is in service of making Humanity multiplanetary.
To bad my younger brother died before Elon & AI came out. My brother a quadriplegic at 15 lived till he was 67 and he lived the longest in history with his injury of a broken neck from a diving injury. He was close to being a genius he had 3000 tax clients that he saved each of them, including me, thousands of dollars in taxes every year. Oh yes AI must not be a danger for mankind, I feel Elon and those he works with, will figure out a way to do it right! What he says makes complete sense. I have 5 children I raised to have common sense. They all had their own successful businesses. Always Honesty is the best policy! You sir are as wise as you are smart!

Communication is key. We are "separate" by this mathematical "place".. what can we do but try. There is no try ? very easily misinterpreted.. come on Yoda. I am the inventor/designer of things Elon Musk has been marketing. My design art vanished and it has taken years to trace but the products are wonderful. Elon is a very clever person, but what I have said is true.

The reason why people act this way is that they have been following the Tesla story for a long time. I don’t think you did. You seem to have just a negative emotion regarding Musk. That’s fine. He's spot on about The Culture books and how AI and culture changes. Yes there's external threats in those but the AI is awesome and the way humans live is too. For anyone who doesn't know, that's where they get the ship names from for Space X. Which I think is probably inspired by Anne McAffrey's The Ship Who Sang (but it's possible she was inspired by real life ships or earlier science fiction). The ships in The Culture name themselves IIRC. The books are amazing and like Pratchett he was a great loss to humanity at an early age.

I think it’s hard to listen to Elon without sensing his authenticity. He is such a contrast to so many of the voices we are subject to in this modern world.
Elon is straight forward, and honest but he likes a bit of fun, too, amd jokes around .

All the loaded questions from the major media make me laugh and cry at the same time
I can't decide which was my favorite moment. Hearing Elon shut down Business Insider or claiming that he will put humans on Mars in 7-8 years. Of course, 7-8 years in Elon time could mean 12-15 years. We'll see!

Carl Sagan stated the best answer to the alien question. He stated that if there aliens who are more advanced than us, they could come among us without us knowing, and if they are less advanced they have not even left their planet.

As for AI teaching our children, I hope there are still classrooms where children congregate for certain classes. There’s something about learning a subject or discussing literature while sitting in a room with other fellow students. I hope AI education will still include students and young children holding classes together. AI can’t impart love of a subject onto children or to capture the significance of a live action happening in real time (IE: Like if squirrels or birds outside the school room windows are doing something never seen before and all the students can’t help but look outside the windows. If a real teacher was in the room, he could watch with the children and they could all learn something new.

When Elon talks about optimally maximizing for truth in AI learning I cant help but wonder the outcome if it comes to a 'truthful' conclusion that humans have served the purpose in its creation and are no longer required in its truth seeking. Im hopeful that Asimov's laws will be baked in to its code to supercede any possible scenario where this may happen.

Its mind blowing to think about just 50 years ago we were discovering our place in the solar system, now we are taking steps to secure our place in the galaxy. I love the sheer arrrogance of mooks who want to give their entire job history before asking a question. Or thank the person. No, we get it, you want to be polite. Just ask the question. No-one cares who you are - if you ask, 'Is this an April fools joke?' at Blizzcon, we'll all find out who you were. If you're the kids who asked Michael Sheen the most personal and complex questions, and got the best answers from the kindest guy, you'll get known for doing that. Otherwise you are wasting everyone's time. And sure, if you are a shy geek at Comic Con we all have a bit of time for you to stumble and be star struck. Even these people can do that. But don't plan to waffle.
The host is going to thank the person being questioned btw. They do that. You don't all have to do it.

Didn't we learn anything? "2001 Space Odyssey" HAL, the computer that controlled the ship was also programmed with a secret mission goal.. HAL decides it is better to kill the crew than to reveal is secret mission. In "Aliens" a crew member turns out to be an Android with it's own secret mission, the crew has to destroy the Android to preserve their life. Bottom line don't make ai to be deceptive. If we do it will either destroy us or we will have to destroy it.

Keep in mind regardless of bandwidth human cognitive speed does not change. Try listening to something 2x speed on RUclips. You can understand the words but not everyone will absorb all the details compared to 1x.
Looking likely 2028/29 for a human Moon landing and 2033 for a Mars human landing. Elon appears to now be giving more realistic dates.
I love this man. He and Bobby Kennedy' are the 2 most knowledgeable and honest public figures out there
