- This is what happens when you sell out to Joja before activating the cutscene where Lewis shows you the old Community Center. I wasn't sure if this would work or what would happen if it did. Turns out this doesn't ruin the Wizard! Stardew Valley gameplay with my commentary as always!

Sure it’s a little selfish of me to accept the greenhouse repairs but I didn’t see anyone else in town busting their asses in the mines or cutting into their own profits to finish the community center.
Actually, the greenhouse is a benefit to the community because whatever you grow there and sell will be available in the stores for everyone to enjoy.
At least they are gonna get weekly supply of ancient fruit

The Mine Carts save you an INSANE amount of time. Wanna go to the Blacksmith? You can either take the Minecart near the Bus over to Clint's, or you can spend the next 180+ seconds walking through the town to get there. Wanna go to the mine? Instead of having to walk through three screens, you can go to the bus, and boom you're there in ~15 seconds instead of 2 minutes.
true, i use a mod to slow down speed, but still very effective
i tried a mod with minecarts on more places, including your farm.... but the one on the farm sometimes disappears, so going from the mines to my farm, i was stuck in a fence
it came back, but after some, it was gone again.... so uninstalled the mod, lol
Yeah, but he usually walks with speed 10 or ports around anyways so I understand why he doesnt like them :P

The greenhouse IS a community upgrade because now the community can have crops that are out of season grown on the local farm at all times of the year. Definitely benefits the community in a realistic setting since what ever has the highest demand in a community could now be grown every day.
I mean, the bus is also technically only used by you and Pam, but if we look at it from a realistic perspective it benefits many more people.
And she goes to Zuzu City and Grampleton also, in Sam and Shane’s heart events respectively. Maybe in 1.5 we’ll get Zuzu and Grampleton areas to head to.

How do we know those creepy apple creatures aren't evil? You bring them offerings. Sure seems evil to me. Joja winds up fixing everything that's wrong with the community, so maybe they're not all that bad.

technically the majority of the people shops at joja anyway cause of the price (ask jodi lmao) also i think one person forgot who works there (and technically you used to work for joja) pierre and lewis were on a loosing streak when you got to town so you were the tipping point somehow even thou majority of people takes jojas side cause they have sale etc. even thou pretty sure thier products sucks (why else would thier cola be in the river)
Most of the dialogue actually makes sense, like he just hates the new warehouse... then it quickly descends into the ramblings of an insane old man.
What would happen if you never met the wizard and got to his house through the portal?
How would you activate the quest then? You met him during that cut scene, it's just a bit weird that someone just met you and first thing he is telling you is about his ex-wife.

Literraly, this was the worst ending in Stardew valley, I would like to see him doing pacifist by reaching the dungeon underground by slaining the monsters.

I come from the future. There's one last thing Joja offers you: Turn the community center-warehouse into a cinema. Also, junimos offer you that too, turning Joja ruins into a cinema. It's an update.

On my first farm and I’m so glad I decided to finish the community center! This looks much more boring and sad! I am actually enjoying the bundles. I could see this being more for sandbox style playthroughs.

This actually happened to me by accident when I used the name/item glitch and got Joja membership before I saw the community centre!
And I commented it on one of your videos!
Well it is fixed by Concerned Ape in the recent update.
Now you can't buy the joja membership before the cutscene with Mayor Lewis.
I guess DF has a part in letting Concerned Ape about the loophole.
The power of cheating to break the game
Technically the cheating was only to make it faster, not to make it possible.
Nope, this order of events is totally possible without cheating. I do find it odd that Concerned Ape has never patched it so that buying a JoJa Mart membership stops the cutscene with Lewis from triggering.

Technically fixing the bus helps Pam get her job back, so you sorta help the community, not just yourself.
The Joja branch is essenrtially the 'pay-to-win' scenario and obviously teaches us an important lesson about microtranscations. lol
Fixing up the community center can be annoying in certain ways. For example, I had max luck on Friday and decided to have the ton of geodes I had stored up processed and apparently the blacksmith hangs out in the boiler room of the community center on Fridays.
Honesty doing the joja thing is more morally right, I mean think about it
Joja provides jobs for a lot of people, and with the upgrade those people probably get a raise
And with the update with the entertainment center, they probably get a BIGGER raise
While on the other hand, you fix the community center aaaaand....you just have a place to vibe, that's it
If you never have the event with the wizard where you drink from the cauldron and become one with nature. Does that mean you can’t do the bear cut scene?
I *think* the bear says that the wizard taught *him* to talk. If I remember that right, then the bear scene has nothing to do with you being able to talk to the jusomethingsomethings.
Ok I looked it up. The bear says, “Looks like you have a little ‘Forest Magic’ in you.”
To be honest, I don't think the programmer put in a special value for *forest magic* or put in an event flag trigger, so when you get to the bear part, it will still say that you have forest magic in you. simply because a lot of this game is copy paste, and the programmer didn't account for doing the impossible.

wow I actually did this in the game unintentionally and I thought the cutscene was meant for the warehouse. Everything the mayor says makes sense whether its a warehouse or the CC. Jesus
cost difference between completing the jojo market or the community center bundles

Pretty much impossible to calculate if you consider all the time you put into the bundles that you could instead spend making money. I'd say the community center is cheaper since you can just pick up a lot of stuff or craft it yourself, but since you have to level pretty much every skill and spend days exploring and gathering every crop / gem in the mines / items in the desert.
Then you need to remember that you can either find items or buy them from the traveling cart which would again be a huge cost difference.
Simpler to compare the days needed to complete both. And calculate based on that how much money a day you can squeeze out of a fresh save if you don't go off hunting for collectables.
So usually it's a choice between: Do you want to see everything from the game, experience, craft and do every category for the community center or do you want to harvest the same crop for each season to farm money for the joja market.
@@TeaquestSagas Joja's Market is a lot less time-consuming for sure though. Especially cuz that fucking Red Cabbage for the Emily's Bundle. Pierre won't sell the seed until Y2 Fall. I finished every other item on the list on Y1 Winter 10th, now I am just desperately checking traveling Mart 2 times a week hoping for Red Cabbage or seeds.

if you converted the time you spent gathering items for the community center bundles into theoretical "worker's pay", plus the value of items you put into them, im pretty sure the joja warehouse would be cheaper to complete, at least for the average casual player.

I'd argue that the greenhouse as a community upgrade is probably more so meant in a HOA standpoint. It looks unsightly while being in ruins, so it helps the "community" by renovating it and making it less of an eyesore.

Can you still trigger the Wizzard's End game quest to unlock the mutant bug layer and witch hut though? It's definitely possible to make 5000g and buy the Joja member ship within 2,3 days before the Mayor Lewis' cut scene, just fish all day. I never tried, but I assume this shouldn't have an impact with the End game quest even if you gone Joja's route, right?
Hey DF! You should play some Rimworld I think you would do some pretty hilarious things with it. Maybe make your own version of wheels and feed him to some scythers!
