Fabulous video❣️This is the best video I’ve seen for the Creative Grids 10 “ log cabin ruler.
I came to the video with some anxiety, but after listening to your calm voice I relaxed. I also am impressed with your organizational skills and loved the way you answered all my questions before I even knew I needed to question.

Great video. Clear information, no long confusing pauses or questioning your instructions. Well done. Now I want one.

I am just starting to embark on quilt-making. I have been attracted to the log cabin pattern. The hint about how to tell on which side to start each subsequent round (the side with the 2 seams) is a big help. I always wondered how easy it was to keep track of where to go next. I was a bit surprised at how much was trimmed off each time after sewing on four new strips. In this video, some of the trimmings look like they would add up to at least 1/4 inch being trimmed off. It seams that, if one's seam allowance is the accurate 1/4", there should not be so much to trim off. Maybe the strips were cut a bit wider on purpose for demonstration purposes to illustrate the trimming step more clearly?

Is there a Creative Grids log cabin ruler that accommodates 2 1/2" strips? The log cabin I'm making right now with 2 1/2" strips finishes at 14" square. It would sure be nice to have a CG ruler to help me keep them perfectly square! This is a dandy tool.

I guess it doesn’t matter how crooked your pieces are, as the 4th round will cut it square.

It was just released yesterday, check with your local quilt shop, they should have them in stock soon! If not, ask them about ordering it for you and check online retailers.

Peggy Bray since it was just released a lot of places probably don’t have it yet in their stores. ASk you fav quilt store to order out for you, sometimes at first that is the only way to get it if it is really new. I haven’t started looking yet myself because it is so new.Giving it time to hit the stores. Have a great day
