This is sooo cute! It would just kill me to seem to cut off half the strips! But I have a lot of batiks so I may try this one. Maybe with the black contrast.

I think you could make this block from the strips as they show up in your scrap bucket. Make it like a crumb quilt only work in the round and only with stripes. You could square up each round. Project for after Christmas.
