I loved the question about buy-in. Explaining and dialog is key. As a leader both in ministry and in business, I realized that it helps those following you to get insight into what you know. When you have candid conversations, people respect you. Your vulnerability let's them know that you're a leader, but not insulated. You're in the same boat.

Good leaders also show empathy
So true, how would you define empathy especially pertaining to leadership?
Being aware of the team's emotions and struggles and adjusting where necessary. For example, a team member may normally deliver but are being affected by a personal issue. A good leader will be sensitive to the team's circumstances and reallocate tasks and resources to get the job done. I'm thinking about addressing things like fatigue, fear, overwhelm, stress. Good leaders have discernment and empathy so that the correct adjustments can be made.

How does one address someone leading a group that says unbiblical things in and outside of prayer? Like they insert their opinions while praying and leading, and it's uncomfortable.

I didn’t grow up in a Christian household, I accepted the message in 99! I’m still trying to understand why some members are so disrespectful towards Pastors? They won’t dare go into a job boardroom and display that kind of behavior 👏
