can I make an unroasted creamy white almond butter with a food processor, because with my vitamix I have to roast them first and then it works, but roasted is not as tasty as the raw version
I've done this at least a couple times a week all summer long:) My kids especially ask for the peanut butter or strawberry add ins. I blend it in my Vitamix (there is an "ice cream" setting). If needed, I add a bit of cream or whole millk to get it going a bit and also add a little bit of sugar and honey for an irresistible "hot summer day" treat. It's a great recipe to share, Olga! Thank you:)
Hello! Do you put the entire bowl back into the freezer right after you process the bananas in the food processor? Just wondering since the blades get warm from processing for so long and your ice cream comes out firmer than I would expect without putting it back in the freezer.
We serve it right away; I don’t put it in the freezer. It should have a soft serve ice cream consistency. Since the bananas are completely frozen, they won’t become too runny as long as you don’t process the bananas too long and then serve it right away. If you want it to be thicker, you can freeze it for a short time. However, this is not the type of dessert that can be made in advance. It will be hard as a rock, not creamy and scoopable. This is something I make when we are ready to enjoy it.
@OlgasFlavorFactory thank you so much for clarifying and the tip to not freeze for too long as it will become rock hard! I appreciate you and the videos you make! I just made a purchase through Amazon and can't wait to try this banana ice cream and your peanut butter recipe! Thank you, Olga!
I got this food processor last weekend. I'll be making this ice cream tonight. Good luck to me. :)

Yummy! We love this ice cream also! Thank you for an awesome recipe
This is my absolute favourite go to sugar free but sweet treat. I add cocoa and peanut butter!
