I had visian ICL's in 2012. Month after surgery I had a retinal detachment. Now, 6 yrs. later I have cataracts in both eyes. Just had cataract surgery for my left eye 3 days ago. The vast difference in vision detail in the eye I just had surgery is amazing. My right eye which still has the ICL is cloudy and will be getting that one removed along with a iol since the ICL ruined my natural lens. I advise anyone to NOT get ICL's. At first, it was great, but slowly, year by year, my vision deteriorated. Also, I have scar tissue on the eye that I just had cataract surgery on, so will be getting that removed by YAG, soon.

not necessarily, cuz they make laser holes in your iris to relieve the pressure that would be caused by the lense

The female newscaster asked a very important question (after all of the annoying questions she asked which were already answered/explained) at 9:26. But you never have to (change your prescription)... Will you ever have to change your prescription and undergo this procedure of removal replacement? I'm planning a trip to Thailand to see if ICL or PRK is an effective procedure. It will be a decision I will have to make.
