It wouldn’t, unless the pump is active as in pumping gas and it doesn’t stop because the full automatic stop, or it reached the money/gallon limit, and even then, they have fail safe mechanisms in the bottom of the pumps where it stops the flow remotely or right there in case anyone crashes into it. Where it would blow up no matter how little the spark is or fire, is in the gas deposits, a spark lights the gasoline gasses and it all blows up

I am just going to say it the Mclaren that caught fire at the gas pump guarantee they where smoking at the pump. The gas fumes become more pronounced the hotter it is and they had camel cigarettes sitting in the center council of the car.
