@@Dazlidorne it kinda already is. Though it tends to be for charitable events, specific motoring events. It’s not generally open to the public.
For a private collection, Jay has made it remarkably accessible. He didn’t have to make all those videos, but he has. He doesn’t have to employ those staff or invite in all those events, but he has. That’s made him pretty unique so far as private car collectors go.
What becomes of his collection after his time (may that be far off into the distant future)? I don’t know. But I’d not be surprised if the way he chooses to dispose of it was public spirited in some way or other, at least to some extent. At the same time if he had opted for its private sale and dispersal, well I’d be still thanking him for all the truly fabulous things he has done for us car nuts.

It’s an edited video and those guys are probably full time detailers on Jay’s garage staff. They most likely wash each car shortly after Jay takes it out for a drive. So this car likely only had a little dust on it, meaning a contact wash wasn’t needed. And the less touching of the paint before polishing, the less work you have to do to correct the paint. Then after polishing, wash it to get rid of any residual polishing oils or leftover polish buildup.
