More please! The info on a 1v3 was really interesting, looking forward to trying it out
This is great! Love it! I often make bad decisions about when to split from the team and take another angle. Any tips on trying to get an angle or stick to the team? Would appreciate more scenarios on these tactics. Cheers!
As far as loot patterns, my problem is that someone else will ping something that i feel that i really need, whether its armor, hop up, etc. So i end up zigzaging through the poi.
Ty for the informative video @Dazs, i have a question. What if my teammate gets knocked and enemy team is pushing us. What should i do in that scenario. Thank you
@@tejakarem1595 not dasz, but in that situation is the same as a 3v1 try to take enemies by 1v1 and keep rotating the area, if u see 1 pushing u, make sure to rotate ur position, more will come the same second, try to damage the pusher if u can but u spray like 50 or 60dmg and run to a better position, thats how u beat a 3v1 // let me explain a situation yesterday, was with bangalore and my teammate got knocked, we were in a house of olimpus, the ones that have ziplines // got 3 waves of enemies (on duos, 6 enemies) all of them coming after i wiped one duo, what i do was playing covers, rotate the house to find were they located at and spray them ocasionally, using some smokes to get shield swap, killed the 3 duos without problem, just be smarter than them // also always make sure to carry like 2 grenades (thermites, arc stars, grenades) i use them a lot while i see a enemy reviving, if i cant spray the reviver and they end up reviving its just better to trow something, it will 90% sure explode in the downed that was revived so no revive for them // not only for that, can be a great way to make them mantain distance from you
Hey dazs! Thanks for the video, love this style! I'll either reply to this or send another when I think of another topic I'd like covered in this format
In regards to the first part about looting, i end up doing a circle because i can never find decent guns, I'll end up with 4gold/purple light mags and find all shotguns or worse 6 p2020 across the bins i open. For some reason i have garbage RNG. I have played multiple games where the only guns i find that aren't bottom tier, i either cannot find any ammo or my teammates take everything and tell me "i don't know what to tell you man, i found plenty back there"
If you don't have good loot in the main path, rotating to a different POI quickly is better than staying put. If something is not in that POI, I promise it will be in another.
Don't worry bro, I hear you on that. But don't forget those games where you get your favorite loadout. It's easy to forget those games because we have other games with bad RNG that with the wrong mindset consume our thoughts making us think we have bad RNG when we instead we just kind of forget about the good games
What is the best way to react and fight off drop when your poi is contested? Also loved the video, liked how simplified it was, made it easier to understand :D
If it's more than one team, the best option is to let them fight first and then third it. There's too many variables when it comes to fighting off drop, since you rely on the loot pool and what location you land on. If it's just one team, you can either do a 50/50 or land on the opposite side to loot and then you'd have to determine if you can take a fight. There's too many variables when it comes to the loot, but a lot of this goes back to the beginning of his video and it's able to loot more effectively. If your team is better at looting, you'll kill the teams the majority of the time. This is why it's very important to be familiar with a pois loot. In rank, my teammates and i always land in the same pois because we know how to loot it. If you're switching pois every match, then you'll be less efficient and not perform as well when contested.
Might be a good format to explain how to navigate a contest off drop. Lots of randoms kinda just send it to where the good loot is without any further thought. Gets even more interesting with 2+ squads. Could also be useful for big 5+ squad endgames and how a little rock can beat out height once ring starts closing
Good teams chose an area they usually know isn't contested and work on a set kinda path Into endzone per say. It's ranked so the least risk possible is number 1 priority. Usually if they see 2+ teams landing in their usual spot they dip to plan b or wait patiently for a 3p
@@ozzyosbourne5866 I'm not suggesting it's a good idea/needing help my friend. I'm saying the paint format would make a good way to help guide noobs who find themselves in a weird spot such as those. How you should you adjust your looting patterns etc in response to external factors.
OK, understand the basics of it. But let's say the team has all snipers/marksman with good scopes, but you're team doesn't, and only havocs or re 45s? how would you handle holding space?
when to finish ko enemy example was more like a (understanding what trades are better to take and avoiding doing things that leads you in a 50/50 situation)
I mostly play with one other friend consistently, but this friend isn’t as aggressive and prefers to hang back and lob grenades or snipe. How do I continue to be aggressive and capitalize on flank angles/ pushing on enemies without sacrificing team synergy? I personally don’t prefer sniping and sometimes get frustrated that my duo might be scared to push with me. There have been many scenarios where we knock/crack an enemy in a Duos match and I either lose a push because I’m alone or we don’t capitalize on it and the enemy team resets.
I play the characters who don’t start the push. When I play vantage it is important to get to a good off angle where I can hit shots with my ult when my teammate pushes in. When he pushes the enemy might move into the open more and into my line of sight where I can then shoot them. Hope this tip might help you out.
I’d also note that it’s good for your teammate to get a good shot with their sniper before you push fully so it’s easier to secure the kill as they won’t want to peak your teammate again, so you know they will be behind the same cover probably healing
When and where to use ultimate abilities, like bang, horizon, gibby ult, etc. I find i dont get very much value from them, while i watch preds and pro players win fights with well placed ults/abilities.
Explain trough ms paint when can we play together dasz :D, would love to play sometime with u, i follow ur channel nearly from when i started on apex like 4 months ago and still see ur videos when u post them, one of the best youtuber of apex for sure u are also one of the youtubers who made me choose wattson to be my main // we are friends on apex aldeary but dont want to annoy u when u are in streams thats the only time i see ur on so never invited to squad or something like that :/
to find that u need to know if ur team is in a good position, and has loot enough to survive if any team pushes you, it includes shields, ammo, heals, weapons, also if ur position has a lot of entries to third partys make sure to rotate, minimum path on a area, for third parties is 2, more than that always rotate, also make sure ur near to the ring
You just need to ask yourself "is taking this fight stupid?" especially in ranked matches Fighting at the middle of the zone where there are 4+ squads around is guaranteed 3rd party so it's stupid Pushing a completely healthy squad (your team haven't cracked any of their shield from mid-range) when it's not necessary (fighting for a spot during 3rd+ ring can be necessary) is stupid Fighting a squad when you're not in the ring during ring closing is stupid You only really want to commit to close range fight and delay your rotation is when you are already inside the ring (or very close to it), someone in your squad just knocked someone, and there's no other team around you (higher chance for this to happen if you play at the edge of the zone for less 3rd party) which basically a 3v2. The other scenario where it's okay to go push a fight is when you're inside the ring while the enemy squad isn't and they're trying to find a path, you can cockblock that squad and you'll fight with health advantage because the enemy will take constant HP damage. Also for rotation you really want your squad to have at least Bangalore, her smoke is just amazing for rotation and to make sure enemies don't have the line of sight to shoot you while you try to find a spot inside the smaller rings. Her ult is also fantastic to tell squads to f*ck off if they try to push, and you can also use the ult to open a fight and force the enemy to get cover while your two teammates push since they won't take damage from the Bangalore ult.
I was hoping that every random that I encountered in pubs would see this video, man they always land with me if Im the jumpmaster and stealing loot in front of my eye hahaha that also I know that they cant play for sure
Your loot advice is not applicable to Apex. Good load outs (as in not dual snipers) very seldom spawns in one place you can just pick up a load out and run. 3/4 of this game is loot simulator just to find a SMG/ Assault loadout
