I just finished the Lunatic arc, and I must say it was one hell of a challenge. I was able to buy all songs and spells at the end of it all! Yukari is no joke that is for sure! 500 tries was NOT an exaggeration to my mind!
Saw this on play-asia - I love bubble bobble, so here I am to get an idea to see if it's worth jumping on. Glad to see it's certainly worth a purchase!

I've never played a Touhou game, and although its always been interesting to me since I like shoot 'em ups and series with great music, I worry I wouldn't enjoy it because of difficulty or just my unfamiliarity with bullet hell games :/ I know this game's a spinoff, but would it be a good start to get into the series and characters, or would there be a better place to start?
Mm I mean I haven't played Touhou games in general but there is a story mode here, although it assumes you know a bit about the characters already. I guess it's not much of an issue even if you don't know about them, I didn't feel turned off by it. You can also try the mystery dungeon style games since those are supposed to be good games as well
I love bubble bobble, touhou, and rhythm games so this seems like a no brainer next time ive got some spending money. Really seems like there's a crazy amount of content here so I kinda get the cost, but still hurts a bit XP
This does sound more fun than regular Puzzle Bobble. Unfortunately I haven´t learned to like the mechanics of Puzzle Bobble, I much prefer other styles of action puzzles. Good review anyway!
In demo I can get 5 times the points of my opponent on easy, which means it was too easy, but I get crushed at similar rate on normal. Like they end up having 5 times more points than me. How is this game balanced?!?!

The reason this game exist because ZUN used to work at Taito for 4 years, he decided to stop working there so he can focus on his series.
I've played the demo and I really want it now, I just have to wait because it's full price and there's a lot coming out.

This game is FANTASTIC, but at 50+ dollars its just a little bit too pricey, for me at least.

To each they own bubble pop games okay fun form time to time. But music/rhythm games not my thing ill stick to the wander version of touhou.
