One of the best videos about quantitative reality of the risk management, thank you Nick.
If you have 10,000 principal, you will trade at 5%. The first transaction bet 500, the second is 5% of the remaining 9500 principal, and the second is 475, which I think should be the case.
That is because your risk per trade is still constant even your account balance goes down.
Try to compute your risk per trade based on your current balance, not on your initial balance.
Anyways I got your point, don't risk too much regardless how big or small your account is. 😊👍
Helpful Nick, thanx Man
Thank you so much Nick

Best Mentor
Some very good valid points Nick has spoke about in this video 👍
Glad you think so!
i'm using an end-of-day swing trading strategy with an ML bot that can predict with 83% accuracy whether the closing price will go up or down the next day. Given the high accuracy, I think I'm gonna opt for 5-7% (still using a demo account at the moment).
Can you please share the spreadsheets in the comment section?
Pure facts
This doesn’t apply when you use reverse compounding aka 5% of current balance not starting balance.
a question.
example here.
if i have $800
i risk 3%
but what should be my reward percent
Can you share this spreadsheet
is it possible for me to get a copy of that?
From somalia thank you nick
do pirates trade?
3% absolute max for me

in the beginning of my journey, I started with 30$ & trade with 1 micro lot.. after my account reach 100$, I started to risk 5%.. when my balance reach 500$, I will risk 3%.. I will start to risk 1% when my account reach 1000 usd.. Trust the process with patient & consistent..
so how it's going
How is it going now bro?🤔🙇🏻♂️
Just blew my live account today - ironically market turns in my favor soon after 🤣😡
bro lets say i want to start a account with the small amount of 50USD on it, and have the leverage of 1:100 and all i do is take signals BUT i also want to risk 1-2 dollars on each trade i get from the signals..do i need to change something to ensure im risking 1-2 dollars everytime i get signals or is it already done with having it set on 1:100?
so after a year are you profitable taking signal?
👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
I saw adam khoo trading history and He got 10x strike lose in 53% : 47% Win : loss rate & 1 : 1.3 RR. So 10 times strike lose is very possible especially in lower winning rate.
on funded accounts, traders risk 5% - 10% each transaction and earn)) how to explain this? i.e. 100k account, but the real account for trading is 10k, not 100k.
yes and that is why soo many people ultimately lose the funded account. It is meant for you to fail because they trick you into thinking you are trading with the full 100k
👏😎
is it me or the vid is somewhat too cropped in?
It is the paint application, fullscreened. Does look a bit funky
Hi Nick, I got 2 questions for you :
1.) Do you think having over 50 losing trades in a row for any trading strategy is normal and why?
2.) if one is aiming the target for around 100R but have encountered the scenario that provides more than 100 losing streaks before ever reach a single wining outcome, is that also normal?
Follow the 1hour trend. Enter on 1 min chart with 1:3 risk reward.. you will see miracles in your account
R:R more important
risk percentage matters no matter what the RR is
