This is glorious, been searching for "what is higher high and lower low?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever tried - *The Semyon Tchernenko Strategy* - (Have a quick look on google and can't remember the place now ) ? It is a good one of a kind product for discovering how to conquer options trading minus the normal expense. I've used and trust the system of trading.
Structure is king. I use heikin ashi to trail stops as it’s much easier to spot when a trends changing

I am new to forex and that is the mistake I made in the last few days.

I've just started learning forex trading and opened a demo account. I saw an uptrend, went long after a pullback. Then it continued up. My instinct told me why not move my SL up and follow the trend. And it continued further up and how I wished it was a live account. After watching this video, it confirms my first instinct was right and gave me the assurance with hope to get more of this in my live account.
I would add the moment you entered the trade change the candles to 5 pip or 10 pip Renko bricks. Much better for your nerves. Thx again.

What you’re talking about I just read in the famous book Reminiscences of a Stock Operator... I think this is the key and you’re a good man for sharing this. I’m fortunate to have learned this early:
“Trader has to reverse what you might call his natural impulses. Instead of hoping he must fear; instead of fearing he must hope. He must fear that his loss may develop into a much bigger loss, and hope that his profit may become a big profit.”
This is great Scott well said, you should research the S&T Vek Forex strategy and try if it suits your trading style, it is consistent and profitable too.

A very valid concept of selling profits quickly and holding into losses with the hope of reversal, this is called loss aversion in behavioural finance.
