Out of a sample size of four characters… Pick any four people out of a US city multiple times, and you’ll end up with many extremes of representation that don’t accurately represent the total percentage of the US population. That’s like bitching about McDonald’s not offering any burgers out of a sample size of four people, with two getting McNuggets and two getting a salad. It doesn’t make any sense.
I’m white and I relate to every character in the game… because they are all relatable in their own way. Coach is relatable in that he tries to keep moral up, El is relatable because he is way out of his element but thinks he’s prepared, every single human on earth has at one point thought, “I could survive an apocalypse” even nick is relatable, in he understands how screwed they are but is willing to keep going.

In addition to not having to wait for someone to spawn in a closet, the defib also means that you can get someone immediately back into the game and they can get their stuff back.

This review reminds me of an old review from another channel. This lady spokesperson reviewed Bomberman Generation and, rather than go in-depth in the story mode (the mode most people would be drawn to immediately), she just plays the first, maybe, two levels, says the story sucks, doesn't elaborate, then goes on to talk about the multiplayer mode. It's one thing to hate a game; it is another to not even play the game and cover why you hate the game.
The main draw with Boomer Bile over the Pipe Bomb is that it distracts the infected for longer. Making it better than the Pipe Bomb on crescendo events, while the Pipe Bomb is for eliminating a horde of infected. It’s balanced, as the two serve different purposes.
plus the bile can be used to shred down more bulky infected. like a Tank as a bunch of zombies would start attacking it. might not kill it alone but it's still very useful.
i hate the idea of graphics needing to be realistic as hell, unless its something like a military game, something set in the real world or a horror game where being as immersed as possible can be a good thing i prefer games having their own style, hell old games like dragon age look like leather face stitched the characters together but i still love it because its fun (Also like for the maxor reference)
@Sparklyboiii2009_2 I would argue most modern Open World Games are extremely guilty of padding out content to artificially increase the length of the Game. And I've recently been playing Control, which basically wants me to do boring side content by making the main Game infuriating if you don't do it, and again Remedy only did that because the main Game is naturally quite short.
When the thumbnail said "too much content", I was fully ready to go on a tirade about how that's actually fair because there are some games like Hyrule Warriors Definitive and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate that have so much content that they take an extraordinarily long time to go through with nothing much to make all those hours actually interesting making the game bloated rather than fun. But then it turned out the content in question is just enemy types and there's only 6 which isn't even that many, all things considered.
looking at the "review" (the notifs, the text on screen, the quality) it looks like the guy was one of those "l4d1 good, l4d2 bad" people which were kinda popular in early 2009
in the game there was a practical reason as to why they went to the carnival which was to use the fireworks from the concert of the nightriders (a band that is well known for their pyrotechnics) as a means to signal a helicopter, which he would of known that if he payed any attention

From a literal, face-value standpoint it _seems_ woke (as in something that a show only made for far-left audiences would do), but from an allegorical standpoint, it not only mirrors McCarthyism from the time, but also how people slang ‘fascist’ at each other a half-decade prior, and also makes a point about how overuse of a word makes that word lose its meaning ~ something VERY true today. I consider myself center-right-ish (I know, you asked), so I hope it would explain some of my terminology used. Again, as for my thoughts, the Fallout show does have problems (mostly stemming from the fact characters seem to do stupid shit for the sake of plot, and also not showing enough of that one non-binary(?) character; I want that concept explored, how that character came to be in the madness of Fallout’s world, only for them to get a foot massage from Temu that puts them out of much of the show; a huge missed opportunity for character development imho).
